blaming a bench player in a loss is like blaming your passengers in a car crash.

get over it. dumbfest is pathetic

Yes it's a team loss. But you're a Lin fan, you ought to be frustrated with his bonehead plays and lack of mental toughness.

No doubt the starters loss this game. Just look at the stupid, sometimes sensesless, +/-.....all starters in negative and all backups were +. Harden, and as a team, Houston is bricking too many threes.

smh.. Howard needs guards to get him the ball for his impact to be seen. After pretty much dominating the game in the 1st half they almost completely stopped going to him for some reason. he obviously has to demand the ball but the guards also have to continually look at him under the basket.

Chandler got an offensive rebound and Dwight had deep post up but instead Chandler drove the ball instead of dumping it down. this happens a lot. when the games get nasty like that in the 2nd half they have to dump it down to Dwight even with the threat of a TO. plus Harden was hurt why wouldn't they give it to Dwight every time?

Only the bench has a positive +/- tonight.

In this analogy a passenger has no control over anything the car does, does that mean you think Lin has no effect on anything the Rockets do?

If you do think Lin has at least some effect on the Rockets, then your analogy sucks.

Lin & Casspi made the difference to change the tone in the 1st quarter. Lin quickly got Howard involved in a play right at the rim, and also got Asik the ball deep in the paint several times. He also did a good job running the team in the 2nd quarter. The ball moved well, and it opened up Bev for multiple 3s. These two are a good combo.

Bev was outstanding tonight, but he needs to learn to control his aggressiveness. There were several times when I thought he was out of control. Lin had a good 1st half, but at the end of the 3rd when Asik came in & Rivers put in a small lineup, plays fell apart and he coughs up some stupid TOs. It didn’t help that the team lost their focus in those few minutes, like when Garcia had a crazy miss on that open layup. Overall the team was much better tonight. A better job getting Howard the ball & Harden did better involving his teammates & played better D.

What a heartbreaking loss. The team lost themselves again midway through the 4th, and Crawford made some ridiculous 3s late in the game that pushed out a big enough cushion for the Clips. I don’t think they are that much better than the Rox. The Rox just needs to refine a few things and keep their focus & intensity throughout the game. I also think McHale needs to do a better job countering the opposing coach’s rotations.

I think TT should only be used on special circumstances such as if we are getting posturised down low. I just feel like everytime we go to TT, it really confuses our offense and has a lasting effect especially if the other team gets on a roll. I'm not saying TT will never work, but I really feel like it will take a lot of games before we can get it to work. How many games do we want to sacrifice and there is a big big risk that it just can't work. Most analysts and coaches (other than the Houston group) think that this can't work. I just hope pride (Morey/Mchale) will not get in the way and force something that is bleeding this team's wins dry.

Cut your losses now while its still early.

Unless you are blind and obviously you clearly have an agenda, Harden went out of his way passing the ball tonight. Infact the announcers were blasting him for being to passive. But yeah, he is a ball hog according to you.

Sure... It's Lin's fault that the Rockets were bricking every shot in the 3rd.

It's quite telling... but both Harden and Lin played with injury in this game.

Put the blaming games to rest. That's not a sign of maturity.

It seems to me that Lin in his interviews, tends to own his mistakes rather than pushing the blame to his teammates.

we should be better but I think we may just be able to make 5th-6th seed with no addition or development.

The Rockets had such great chemistry last year and during preseason. How can they suddenly turn into mean girls all of a sudden?
