McHale got out coached by Doc.

The Rockets started badly. Then we got a line up that worked and built a good lead, then McHale took people out and changed back to the line up that didn't work. Why is he so stubborn?

Start Jeremy, loss. Start Bev, loss. Shall we start Brooks next time we play the Clippers?

I say this every post - it's so obvious for me. We are going nowhere as a team even though we have more talent than last year. This is the ultimate sign of ****ty coaching period. Lets petition Morey and Les to bring in real star coaches that can handle our star player egos and give them some disciple and direction.:)

Then don't give him credit when he helps win and don't b**** about not playing him a lot of minutes.

Dude, 107-94 is a team collapse. If you're gonna put this solely on him you're dreaming.

Okay, I meant from the start of the first quarter. Should have put that down.

Very nice defensive adjustment by Doc. Really clamped down on the paint coming out of the half time break. He took real advantage of our not being able to hit from the outside.

Lin's first half was excellent, 3rd quarter was bad, 4th quarter not much better. 5 TO's, but going to discount the one kick ball (obvious miscall) and the TO with 1.7s left when he got the pass. Bad shot or drive for a foul/shot and get a TO are effectively the same. He shot very few jumpers and missed most of them, so thinking that his elbow is still bothering him (reported earlier today).

Harden was clearly not himself. Took very few shots, missed a lot of them.

Bev got in foul trouble very fast in the 3rd. Definitely hurt in terms of getting us in foul trouble. Bev shot well, defended solidly, however would like to see him work to actually facilitate instead of just drive and passing to reset.

TT got us in a hole in the 1st quarter, but was a wash in the 3rd. Wasn't able to build momentum or build a lead in the 3rd. I think that games like the Clippers are a bad time to work on the TT. Keep that for games where we have big leads or weak opponents, and preferably not out of the gate.

Parsons was quite solid for most of the game. Some defensive lapses, but nothing too brutal.

Dwight was hardly noticeable after the 1st half. Felt like he disappeared down a hole. His rebound totals seemed quite low.

Asik was Asik. Not much to say there.

All in all, we were in a deep hole with Harden injured, our not being able to hit 3's, and Doc's half time adjustments on the defensive end.

This team still has a long way to go in terms of developing offensive and defensive rhythm. Lack of cutting, not enough passing from Harden, sometimes too much passing from Lin, and virtually no passing out of double/triple teams by Dwight.

Hopefully a lot of this will iron itself out as the season progresses.

This team has no answer for J.J. Reddick and Jamal Crawford. Come on McHale, put Ronnie Brewer on them !!!

he needs to pass the ball instead of shooting contested jumpers. that has nothing to do with his injury

No need to spell it out.
This is exactly what we want to avoid by blaming Lin.

The problem is we play absolutely 0 team ball, everyone just ISO and runs out the clock and jacks up a 3 or a terrible fade away shot. We were doing really well in the first half playing the PnR. Also, Garcia and casspi have been no shows these past 3 games. Harden is Cleary not himself and should sit if he's not healthy. This is going to be a long season and we will need him come play off time.

People who only look at an individual game's TO numbers without examining how and why TO's occur are willfully ignorant

Good game P. Bev. Okay game Parsons. Good first half Lin but bad second half. Bad game Harden. If you are hurt just don't . Howard had good numbers but his impact is not apparent

When Lin came in for Beverley in the 3rd quarter he killed the momentum offensively that th3 rockets were in just like game 6 against okc.
