Yeah the reviews have been fairly middle of the road. At least their consistently middle of the road. Big swings in review scores worry me for some reason.
I thought I read that it got better over time...but I might be confusing that with something else. I haven't really paid much attention to the game either, although I was somewhat impressed by some of their showings during E3 (mostly liked the team behind the game). Since it is F2P, don't really need to think much about it and can just form an opinion whenever I feel like trying it out (if ever).
My local Target is fail Only had COD:G in stock. No other games. Guess I'll wait till Tuesday to go back and hope they have the games I want for the B2G1 deal.

I just got an email with a code for Buy 2 Get 1 from Amazon during the same days as the Target sale. It stated my purchase (the ps4 bundle) qualified me for the coupon. Maybe contact customer service and they might hook that up if you haven't bought anything. I'm sure they'd rather have your business than let Target get it.
Amazon emailed me a code, which will let me get a free game since I preordered a few others PS4 games. But I'm not sure what to get. Already ordered Killzone, Knack, and NBA 2K14. I'm saying no to Madden and FIFA because EA Sports can suck it. Same to COD and Activision. Somewhat tempted by Need for Speed Rivals, but I think I'd rather just wait for DriveClub. I guess I somewhat narrowed it down to these: Assassin's Creed 4 Battlefield 4 Just Dance 2014 Don't really want two shooters (and BF seems more MP focused, which I won't really mess with). I probably would love AC4, but I feel like I should maybe play the other games first (I only played a bit of the first). I could probably get AC4 for cheap when/if I'm ready for it. I think I'm leaning towards Just Dance. I'm getting the PS Camera...for some reason...and I guess I need an excuse to use it. I've never played any of the other games in the series. And I could maybe use a "party" game. Oh no....I think I'm becoming a casual gamer!
Got you by a minute. No interest in Lego Marvel Super Heroes? I have a camera sitting on a table here, no judgement. Play Room looks fun for a moment, I'm interested in seeing the DLC for it. I mostly want it for voice controls, hopefully they function well.
I got a B1G1 free voucher from Amazon. From the tax savings, controller promo and this game promo...I'm looking pretty good. Traded in two games for about $10 less than I paid for them to get $55 in credit + $30 extra controller promo. Bought the camera and a controller for $35. Bought NBA 2k14 for $59 and got Assassins Creed (don't even like it, but willing to give it a try) for free. Saved another $35 because I didn't have to pay taxes on my PS4. Unreal...never seen a launch with so many good deals.

Hmm...maybe get Lego for him, and Just Dance for my niece for when they come over (which they probably will). Amazon, you now have me buying more games. Well played.

Francis is a popular Youtube personality (a "fake" one at that). The actual guy is pretty cool. He's been doing video game videos for a while, and I guess Sony felt it would be good marketing to give him a PS4 early. And they're probably right. Don't think it will work on a Eye or controller. I had a different code/promotion (I got a free game, no purchase necessary), but think it applies to the same things.
Well...yeah. Definitely some marketing attempt by Sony. Free PS4 for "Francis" if he does a video showing it off. Might have been given the box in person, but he used a DirecTV box so he could use the story of a package arriving from Sony.
