The Jazz are 0-6, btw. Maybe should've checked their record before you used that excuse. ;)

I knew about their record. Just because they're losing doesn't mean they don't put up a tough fight. Anyone can win on any given night.

That might be a valid argument if you applied it equally to the Bobcats and Lakers games. According to you, slow start to inferior team w/ Bev starting = Bev's fault. Slow start to inferior team (with a far worse record than both Charlotte and the Lakers, btw) w/ Jeremy starting = tough fight, anyone can win any time, blah blah blah. Surely you see the inconsistency there lol.

But you're right. We probably had a slow start against the 0-6 Jazz because Beverley was sitting too close to the court.

It's pretty simple.. our defense. While Bev. will make a difference, there is still issues with our overall defense, especially guarding the perimeter. I do not think the twin towers is working first of all. I think Dwight is capable of grabbing rebounds on his own and Aski needs to come off the bench, but both on the court to start hinders the defense. That is because Asik or Howard are needed to guard a 4 and Asik mainly is just to slow to rotate. We are trying to go through every pick rather than trying to switch and play help defense on the weak side. We started switching agains Lakers(except last play) and our defense got us back in the game. But for some reason, coach just doesn't grasp the fact that he needs to do it early. If that doesn't work, he needs to try the zone defense to slow teams down. This will cause teams to have to drive to the basket as we are guarding the perimeter, ,and then you have either DH or Omer in the paint.

I think OP means slow starts to individual games (i.e., our recent pattern of going down ~20 in the first half and having to scrap our way back).

Offenses are more ending with ISO, and defenses are with no synergy..

TT clogs the passing lane. and it's not helping that HArden wants to play ME ball and Bev can't pass.
