the fact is no big name is available hence big 3 is not possible, and the small names will be ignored by your max guy just like Lin been ignored when try to run a play.

I'm not sure why so many in this thread has just decided to JUMP on Dwight Howard. I don't think there has been anybody under as much media scrutiny as he has over the last few years (except LBJ).

We should ALWAYS take what the media says with a BIG PINCH of salt. I mean, a short while ago they were all over Derrick Rose for not returning from injury early to help his team in the playoffs. What was that about? I think a human being should know their own bodies and determine when to return without the judgment of the media. Don't you?

So, with respect to Dwight, let the man be. Let the man develop his game. Even this website has stated issues regarding PGs - read the thread "Who to start Beverley or Lin?" All Dwight needs to do is ask that same question and the media will GO NUTS saying he has issues with our PG rotation. Blown out of proportion.

I don't care how reliable your source is. If it isn't Dwight saying it here then I don't care.

He is still friends with Stan Van Gundy despite all that rubbish that was circulating in the media earlier. That says plenty about an individual's ability to rise above rumours and maintain important friendships.

Dwight is an excellent center who can take our team over the top with James Harden etc. The last thing our team needs is fans that are quick to judge and support us only when we win, not when we are rebuilding.

We rebuild together (fans and team). It will be painful. Go ROCKETS!!

Superstar PG? I thought that the whole point of the Rockets' offense was that it didn't need a traditional QB-style PG.

 

It is true that the guards aren't getting him the ball. And you can include Harden in that as well. There were multiple possessions where Dwight came out and set the pick and Harden reversed the ball. There were also times when Dwight faked the pick, rolled into a post-up and Harden just looked at him and reversed the ball or dribbled it up top.

Offensively, Dwight is at his best when he only has opportunities to make quick decisive moves as soon as he catches it. I think we would be better off to recognize this and get Harden the ball while he is moving, whether that is in the pick-and-roll or whether that is on the post-up, instead of slowing it down, and waiting to throw it in to him until he established perfect post position.

The last play was clearly Dwight's fault. Lin pretty much said it without mentioning Dwight's name. "Miscommunication" was the theme of the night.

Players get even more frustrated by a bad loss than fans, so there's nothing surprising about grousing players (in house). I don't think we should run with this one yet.

"Miscommunication" translates here into ignoring. You could tell Lin really struggled not to call out certain "teammates" for being non-communicative. This seems like an issue that if not corrected soon, will slowly poison the locker room.

But if he's complaining about the point guard situation _ something may happen to keep him happy and I don't think Harden cares one way or the other... Nelson can be had from Orlando... That's probably who he wants. I think they're supposed to be good friends.

But if that's how he felt about those guys on that 2009 Orlando team, then him not liking the Rockets is not so far fetched.

I really think that everyone should take a step back rather than jump on every comment or supposedly attributed comment that is linked to a player.

It just may be possible that it is not presented in the correct context
