Our offense has been terrible these first couple of games. I know we have scored a 100 plus points, but the lack of running a constant option is killing us. Though Jeremy is having a good year what he is lacking is setting up teammates. Our only offense this year is harden dribbles the ball up top and either takes a three or dishes it out. We are desperately lacking a PG that can be a floor general, like a rondo. In late game situation we are always running tht stupid james harden iso and thts not working for this team. This lack of offense goes back to our coaches. By letting them run whatever they want. It may work in the open court and regular season, but when the game is close and slowed down there is no way we'll be ever to compete for a champiioship.
The Rockets are 4th in the league in points per game. Everyone chill the eff out already. We're 6 games in.
I don't think you get it. That's what McHale wants. Even if we got another PG, he'd still be told to pass it to Harden.
The Boston offenses have typically been pretty terrible, even with the Hall of Famers they've had. Rondo (and the traditional PG) are not necessary parts to a good offense in today's NBA.
ok, i dont know how Lin gets blamed when he is doing his role. He is playing off Guard when he plays with the second unit, people on the board want him to be the offensive spark off the floor. HE is doing it but yet again he is getting trashed for not setting up his team. I am not a Lin only fan, but it is just r****ded. He is doing what he is being expected to do. The pieces dont fit yet, maybe we need to have harden at the 1 and find someone like brewer be the 2. Parson at the 3 . The thing i am noticing is Harden does go ISO and he does brush off some plays, especially if he hasn't scored or gotten the ball after 3 possession.

Response It's been clear to me that Mac doesn't rip into Harden like he rips into other players. I think Harden should act like a diva only after he helps Rockets win one Championship.
McHale is a front runner. He will brown nose Harden and Dwight, and really get after it against other guys that the players don't mind him doing. It's just obvious that Harden disrespects him. It's even more obvious that I don't think we have one set play. Our offense is p&r in the half-court, and if in the fast break just go at it. Defensively, don't get me started. We need to re-invent our defense given we have a tremendous defensive rotation at PG, and the very best defensive combo up front. This team should be suffocating defensively. It's honestly quite pathetic.
People on here overreact so much. Its 6 games into the season and people are already disappointed. When you add one superstar to a team with an existing superstar it takes time for the team to get comfortable with each other. Just look at how Miami was in the beginning. Everyone said it was a fail and wouldn't work out but they went to the finals that year and lost but still were able to accomplish a lot that season. Everyone needs to calm down and quit getting their panties in a wad. They'll figure it out soon enough but don't expect a championship this year because we don't have the roster for it at all.
