Agreed. Must play Ronnie Brewer! This is the perfect team (lots of good perimeter shooters, fast uptempo team) to utilize Brewer's defense. Our perimeter and transition D has become the joke of the NBA world, not sure why McHale is so stubborn about not playing Brewer.

Stop with this Harden-sits-out nonsense. Our offense wasn't really the problem last time we played them. We just sucked as hell on defense and if Harden can just give better effort and we play Brewer, I'd bet we be much better this time around.

Wow, I am concerned that he may have planter fasciitis. He should sit out until he is fit to play.
    Hope for the best.

This is a concern. It explains his defensive effort, which was much better the first 3 games of the season.

True. I'm hoping that game was just sort of anomaly and that Reddick was just on fire. However, if we see the same from him against Harden then Houston has a BIG problem. I think some players will just have nights that they can't miss...it was just one of those nights for Reddick. The only problem so far is that almost every SG is having a feast off Harden thus far. Sure you score 30 points but give away 20 points to a player that is averaging 10 points...that's not a good winning recipe.

Harden is not going to make it through the season at this rate.

Agreed. You need him in the long haul.....it's only a few games in so resting for a few games may be the best route.

Our only hope ia that the coaching staff knows that Harden is a good horaw.
And good horses you do not ride it until it breaks down

Harden is our best offensive weapon and he doesn't need his feet to shoot. Maybe he should cut back on the drive/attack, let the PGs do that, and play more off-ball till his feet are better. Also, McHale, no 38+ minutes for Harden.

But he does for defense. My guess is that if he's playing, it's not that bad.

If Harden isn't close to 100%. I wouldn't mind starting Ronnie Brewer or Francisco Garcia in his place.

McHale should not play him, even if he wants to!

If it's the playoffs, he should tough it out and play and not worry about the crippling injuries that affect most professional athletes in later life. Same if it's the last push to the playoffs and we're trying to get a good seed. But game 7 of the season? How does this result in anything else other than a worse injury for the next game?

Bev playing through the chest injury I can kind of understand as he can work around that a bit by taking fewer shots. But healthy feet are crucial to basketball, and high-level play is particularly hard on them (and ankles and knees). Don't understand why he would push this hard at the very beginning of the season.

Clips are playing the last night of a 3 in 4, their last two games were on the road, and were tough losses (Magic and Heat). They will want this one, but will be tired.

Rockets are playing at home, and will be seeking redemption after the tough loss to Lakers, they will also want revenge. Bev's presence should also make a significant difference. But Rox are still sorting out line ups etc,, and Harden's foot injuries might hold him back.

Tonight's game should be an interesting test of both teams' character and will.
