Kudda fooled me! Basically your thread is a knee jerk reaction to a last second loss at home. Well guess what, the same thing almost happened to the Spurs last night. The difference was the Warriors didn't make the shot, but the Lakers did. The Spurs sit atop the west at 5-1 and we're tied for 2nd at 4-2. Another difference is the Spurs have been running the same offense & defense under the same coach for 20 years & we're trying to incorporate an inside game with our bread & butter running game by adding last years #1 rebounder to our own #3 rebounder. Most fans want that to click immediately and be as effective as the Spurs. Well, sports fans, that ain't gonna happen! That's the down side. The upside is we're struggling with the incorporation process & still only 1 last second shot out of 1st in the west. Have patience my friends. This is a marathon not a sprint, a battle not a war and a work in progress. Sit back & enjoy the process. Get mad, get sad. Get high, get low. But don't knee jerk, you'll break your jaw...unless your gut's in the way like mine.

This roster won't win NBA not because it's bad, but because there are couple teams who have even better rosters. Saddest for me is that this season I don't enjoy watching Rockets game almost at all. Compared to the previous season when everyone was running, playing fast, making a lot of 3s, doing nice cuts to the paint.. Was #1 team to watch in the league if you were neutral viewer. This year it's awful and painful to watch us play. We must drop the twin towers idea ASAP

I completely agree with the assessment but you should definitely add Asik to that list. Those two "assets" are just dead weight. Bring JVG back on payroll. You want X and O's? That man will woop these cats to shape.

Damn we lose to the lakers one game and it's like the ****ing apocalypse. Harden sucks. Dwight sucks. Omer sucks. Parsons sucks. This team wont win anything! We really need to calm the **** down.
You have to look at your two superstars objectively. Two things come to mind: 1. Howard, though still in his prime, is not going to get any better. His post moves and FTs will not get any better. What you see now is what you get. 2. Harden, though a superb scorer, is just lazy at D. I'll give him one or two more years but the signs are there that he's not going to improve much. He is just not quick and agile enough to defend your quicker SG (same token as Lin with quicker PG). The team needs a high caliber player that can glue Harden and Howard both.
People like you need to just go away. Why are you assuming everyone is a LOF when they talk about the current Houston roster? I'm so sick of these trolls and their LOF, LOH, HOF crap. So damn annoying. Cut the bull. And yes, I watch alot of NBA games including most of the rocket's game. Been watching and following games since the Jordan, Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Shaq, yao ming days. I play fantasy sports, and sport betting for a living so I know what I'm talking about here. And fortunately, I'm doing very well at it. So thank you. I have both Harden and Howard on some of my fantasy league but that doesn't mean I can't say the truth about them. Howard have been playing for 10 years in the league and still can't shoot free throws. The vegas line for Rockets vs Lakers was -13 Rockets, and I laughed at how dumb they are. And of course, McHale is a coach who can't use his players to their full potential. Send Asik to the bench or trade his butt for another $25m man.

we won't win a championship until we can get a LEGIT player who can be our #2 or #3 option. Howard has been weak so far and lin/parsons are just not meant to be a 2nd or 3rd option on a champion ship caliber team.
Who said we'll win it all? Not yet, we're trying to get into the 1st four playoff berths as this season's goal. The first 20 games or so, we're just trying to establish an identity. One step at a time
