The name-calling aside, most of the people who are upset with Harden's defense have early join dates.
Exactly my point in creating this thread. Lots of posters getting sucked into the negative when in reality our future is all positive.
This is the first 17 games of the Miami Heat 2010-2011 season (offseason they acquired Bosh and LBJ): @ Boston - L 80-88 @ Philadelphia - W 97-87 Orlando - W 96-70 @ New Jersey - W 101-78 Minnesota - W 129-97 @ New Orleans - L 93-96 New Jersey - W 101-89 Utah - L 114-116 Boston - L 107-112 Toronto - W 109-100 Phoenix - W 123-96 Charlotte - W 95-87 @ Memphis - L 95-97 Indiana - L 77-93 @ Orlando - L 95-104 Philadelphia - W 99-90 @ Dallas - L 95-106 Record: 9-8 After their loss at Dallas, they went on to win 12 in a row (before losing to Dallas, again). I guess what I'm trying to get you to realize is that the very same Miami Heat you mentioned encountered the same growing pains that this Rockets team is going thru/will continue to go thru. We may not reach the NBA finals this year and in no way am I saying that we are equivalent to the Heat, but you have to realize that any team with such a prominent new piece is going to have these types of issues. You have to realize that this is a work in progress. A course in patience. It's going to be OK. It's going to get better.
At least wait until we're down to .500 before panicking guys. We should have beat the Lakers, but even good teams get beaten by the trash every once in a while. Have we already forgotten this Laker team beat the Clippers?
There are only two teams with better records, the Pacers who are unbeaten, and the Spurs at 5-1, at least that what the standings said 5 minutes ago when I checked. There is reason for concern, obviously, but don't think for a second that Les isn't cracking the whip. He's not McNair. And whatever problems the Rockets have, you can be sure that Morey spotted it before we did. Everyone wants to shuffle the line up, but patience will get a better return for Asik than a panic trade, so Morey is smart hold onto him until the right deal comes along.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/o4MK8FiKl8U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> OMG GUYS!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone please have a look at 3:32. Its the closing moments of the video. As you can see, Lin viciously attacks Harden on the chest. Repeatedly. Frankly, this explains everything. No wonder they want him traded. /s
Agreed. We need to make some moves, but not necessarily right now. We are doing OK so so far. I looks like Asik might not fit with Howard, but we are only 6 games in so far.
Nonsense. The witch hunt is conducted by 12ers and 13ers. Us older fans were harsh on him in the game threads, but the majority of Harden slows lin nonsense comes from the lin fan boys. You can bash james defense and rightly so, but the he is slowing lin nonsense comers from lin fan boys who clearly have an agenda.
