I feel Bev's D intensity is Down this year.... but that could be due to the injury and having to sustain it for a longer period of time.

That would be best for the team but Harden's poor ego would be crushed.

It was a learning experience for everyone. Lin should now learn to expect that he might get bear-hugged by Nash, so in the future he would be wiser to stay a step farther away. Same goes for Bev. And both of them should have yelled earlier to Howard to switch.

What's crazy is Lin has been playing really well with his lower minutes. Assist down but his FG has been really good. 3pt shooting too. Bev sometimes handles the ball, but then again it's just him dumping it to harden. same with Parsons

Don't really care who starts, it's who finishes. I liked the Lin/Bev/Harden backcourt that was in for the last 6 minutes of the Lakers game.

Asik should be in if hack-a-dwight becomes normal.

    Casspi over Parsons.

The offense sucks most of the time. What a great idea to play the TT's and bring Lin in off of the bench.

I agree that Asik should come in if they are playing hack a dwight at the end of the game. It's not that big of a drop off on the D end if any on certain opponents. If Howard doesn't like it he needs to get over it until he can learn how to shoot a free throw the correct way.

The way the first unit is sucking, it's more fun playing with the second unit anyway.

I think Harden's minutes need to go down. He needs to be used more effectively by McHale - cant' just ride the guy game after game. He's going to wear down as the season goes one and run out of energy come playoffs or get injured, and the team needs time to play team ball once in a while, run some pick and roles, and feature other guys. His offensive domination of the team has its advantages, but I don't like that it is the team identity that makes people selfish when they do get the ball, ie, 'If I don't shoot now, I won't get another chance'.

Which means he'll bench Lin no matter how much he's improved?
    That's really a motivation killer.

Must be all the conspiracy theory on CF getting to my head, but I no longer think Lin on the bench is about TT. It's about Harden and Lin co-existing with ONE ball, and moving Lin to the bench helps to mitigate this problem, somewhat. So TT, or no TT, Lin remains on the bench regardless of how much he outperforms Beverley. Looks ugly right now, but once chemistry clicks, people know their role, this could be the right move for Rockets. I'm still optimistic about and in favor of Lin off the bench even if I question it after almost every game.

Bev's D can't be intensity for long period of time. He's like a sticky man style and easy to get fouled out. In order to not fouled out in short period of time, he needs to do it less intense.

God no. That's worse than starting the twin towers.

Beverley started out on Nash. Jeremy was guarding Blake. Then I don't know why but Jeremy went UNDER Nash before the play even started, so Nash picked him real easily which led Blake was all by himself.

If you're switching though then Bev should have probably switched to Blake.

Was Lin suppose to try and break away from Nash's grab or was Beverley suppose to switch? I don't know whose responsibility it was to go after Blake. But, I have to ask. Did you even watch the game?

Nash grabbed Lin and Lin grabbed Nash. It looked like they were hugging each other. Beverly was behind Lin, not the other way around.

If your trying to make a point. At least make an effort to get your facts straight.

I'm not even concerned about the last play. What happened to Bev during the entire game? Is he following Harden and Howard and only showing up every other game too?

lin said in the post game interview that switch is what McHale and his coaching staffs wanted. please remember the lakers' play is a typical inbound play, nothing new. to defend it you have to switch. because they huddled together, it's very easy to be picked if you try to defend your man.
