Surely now we all saw the replay and realize that 'dirty Nash' just grabbed and bear hugged Lin. He couldn't move. What should Lin do? Give Nash a kung fu punch? LOL. The refs should have called that and we would have won the game.

I keep hearing this "Everyone is yelling at Lin" statement over and over, but I haven't really seen anything like that. Is it true?

I do know that every time the wind changes direction that to many it's taken as a slight to Lin, but I hope it's not true that everyone is on his case. There is plenty of blame to go around at this early point in the season if someone wants to point fingers, but why would you. The problems we have with this team so far might be apparent, but they are fixable with this roster.

they had an animated conversation after a close loss walking towards tunnel. It was shown on TNT. One could derive that there was some negativity through body language and speculation. Despite airing on benefit of doubt that it was a heated time and a loss it makes more sense to jump to the fun idea that howard hates you unless your name is cp3 or deron williams.

me thinks that OP thinks he was the only one that saw it since he was at the game ..and now he has a bit of that spidey sense that something *could* be off. Problem is we all saw it too since it was on national TV so it lends to the paranoia.

add to that OP has some previous street cred and now this is word of god

As cyberx referenced, Dwight has a large and talkative entourage/circle of associates. I would not be surprised that the info is shared by some random member of this entourage with his own interpretation of what Dwight wants and needs. If you've read about D.Rose's brother Reggie's opinion about how the Bulls needed to give D.Rose help, this is perhaps similar, only probably meaning less since it is anonymous and said to cyberx rather than a person working for ESPN.

I'd rather see judge how Dwight performs rather than something he supposedly privately said to an associate. cyberx did have some interesting info from his sources within Dwight's circle, but even then everything he hears were not necessarily consistent with each other probably because Dwight's thinking, and that of members of his circle, are not totally consistent and can evolve.

For now, if the Rockets struggle for the next 20, 30 games, then I'm pretty sure we will all be frustrated, and Dwight will, too. If the team plays well over that span, I'm sure everyone, including Dwight, will be less concerned about the state of the team.

what if it's one of dwight's homies, like that reporter guy that kept trolling us in Colorado, that is speaking for dwight. He sees 15 points and like a lot of fans of individual players does not like that dwight is not the focal point of the offense.

my advise to that member of 12's entourage. Dwight would have had 21 points with 50% ft shooting or complain to the coach about 'stickiness',

I was very saddened when Lin hit the floor and Harden and Howard just stood there and looked at him. I'm not a LOF. But that was terrible, flat out rotten to the core. I think they both should have had their butts kicked. Like the guy or not, Lin plays H-A-R-D. He plays hard all the time. He plays with a ton of heart. That was total disrespect by Harden and Howard. That's not how you play the game. I've played this game enough and been around it enough to know what I saw and felt when that happened. Just an absolute disgrace to do that to another teammate. It is very obvious that Lin is being held outside their little circle. Hate it hate it hate it. (Frankly, I'm disappointed in Parsons too. How do you let that go on with a guy you love? Parsons should have lit into Harden and Howard. He needed to. Hopefully he did in private.)

On the flip side...I sure hope they trade Lin to a place that will appreciate him. Once again, this is not coming from the LOF perspective. I see the holes in his game defensively. He's never going to be a Beverley style defender...never. That's just not who he is. But he's a very, very good player and he's being handed a plateful of crap here. It was so, so obvious last night. So, for his sake, I hope they trade him into a winning situation. He needs to be running an offense from the top. That's what he excels at. Find a playoff competing team that needs him and will put the ball in his hands. He'll drive them to the playoffs. Sure hope it happens for him.

And it's very unfortunate that great ballplayers like Howard and Harden are so short-sighted. It's unfortunate that those kinds of guys want everyone else to torque their games into pretzels to fit in with them but they won't torque their games to be better players. Howard has NO excuses for his poor free throw shooting. NONE!!!! He's been in the league for what, 10 years now??!?!? What do you think his on-court value would be to a team if he was a 70 percenter from the free-throw line??? Crap, he'd probably have 2 rings by now but at least 1. And if Howard had worked half as hard on his free throw shooting as Lin worked on his 3-point shooting over the summer...WE WOULDN'T HAVE LOST THAT GAME LAST NIGHT!!!!

The whole scene last night was too much. Too much negativity. Too many open cracks revealed with the cover blown off them.

So are we back to what Lin + Asik + Dmo/Jones can bring in a trade? (As either one big trade or separate ones).

Lin didn't lose last night's game.

No matter what he did, he couldn't move because Nash was basically making love to him on the court. He yelled out to both Bev and D12 to switch.

Lost basically came to Dwight missing consecutive free throws in final 40-50 sec, and Lin's teammates not rotating fast enough to cover Steve Blake.

Don't know why some are putting this lost on Lin.

    Ditto? Repped.

Lin is actually playing pretty well, but since he isn't an elite PG who gets the ball to the stars in their sweet spots (I guess?) and maybe because he's The Nice Guy, Harden and Howard are taking giant grunts on him.

It isn't Lin's fault Howard can't shoot free throws.

It isn't Lin's fault Harden won't play in the team concept.

Parsons thinks he's the 3rd man in the big 3 so he's trying to distance himself from Lin. Probably thinks he's too above Lin now and would rather be in with Dwight and Harden. Parsons got cocky, let the fame get to his head too much.

    Lin last year:
44% from the field, 34% from the 3-point line

    Lin this year:
54% from the field, 44% from the 3-point line.

    Dwight last year:
    49% from the FT line

    Dwight this year:
    50% from the FT line

Harden last year: 3.8 turnovers per game

Harden this year: 4.5 turnovers per game

Which guy busted his ass working on the weaknesses in his game during the off season?

Which guy cost us the durn game last night??

Which guy listens to the coaching staff and does his best to run the plays they call? Which guy blows the coaching staff off and goes iso??

Yet, which guy is on the outside looking in??

Total bullcrap fellas. This is the drama you have with superstars. Get used to it.

And remember this....unless Dwight improves his FT shooting significantly and Harden cuts down his turnovers significantly and learns to be more efficient running the team we will NOT win a championship.

It was Bev's fault he was supposed to switch and didn't.
