The Biggest of them all; Leaving Howard in when ole buddy went with that Hack-A-Howard tactic.

Good analysis as always. SHould have took Dwight out to put in Asik if they really needed a defender - Asik's FT is a little better. Hack-asik would probably work for us lol.

You think Lin would be on the court if HE stunk it up? I don't think so. McHale only sees what he wants to see. I saw Harden play for like 16 straight minutes when clearly Bev should've come in for him. I saw him overplay Lin in the 3rd when he should've sat him. I saw Asik in there for way too long when our offense was sputtering. I saw Howard in there even though he was a liability to the team. Man, tell me you didn't see that?! I'm sorry but I've known since last year that McHale AND Sampson gotta go. I'm not even sure maybe Fitch is actually dictating this. He wanted to create the new triangle offense but reverse. Another offensive scheme without a pg. (I'm venting)

Look at the talent that we have on our roster though? This game should be like an exhibition game, Steve Blake of all people, WTF???

This same Laker team beat the Clippers. So any given day rules applies. The Heat lost to some weak teams pimpn.

It's going to be interesting to see how the Rockets handle Hack-a Howard. I think teams are going to start using it almost every game. Not only does Howard miss free throws, but the strategy completely destroys the Rockets uptempo game.

Also, after the game last night the crew on TNT was saying that Howard needs to dominate the Rockets offense and get close to 20 shots per game. Does Howard have enough of a low post game to warrant getting 20 shots?

I'm disappointed in the loss, but I'm looking forward to seeing what changes are made to the team. Changes will definitely be made.

It's because we have too much talent - people are overplaying their roles. DH and Harden both want to be heros.

If you look at championship teams, they share the ball well. Heat, Spurs, Celtics etc. Our team is so selfish :(

I don't care if we lost every game except for the ones against the Lakers. Now we have to deal with all these laker fans talking crap.

No way to win a game spotting 17 pts and 33-52 ft. Common denominator?

Like someone said earlier, at least this will create change in the line-ups we use.

Will McHale make that necessary change is the million dollar question.

McHale, after much discussion with Sampson behind closed doors, will decide to bring AB off the bench to backup Bev. Then, that'll really bury Lin. Problem solved! We're trying to win here~

LOL it looked like there was a rockets guy behind him trying to get him up? LOL the Lakers were more worried about him than Houston.

The knee jerk reactions are annoying and I try to avoid them. There was good and bad about the game.

The Good: The Rockets fought back from being down 19 points. James Harden was a beast. He played a great game with strong 4th quarter defense.

The Bad: James Harden's first half defense was extremely weak. (thank goodness he played much better D in the 4th quarter.)
The idea to throw the ball in to Howard with less than 2 min. in the game.
The last defensive screw up when Jeremy and Beverly failed to get out and cover Blake who'd been hot already during the game.

The Better: The mistakes that cost us the game are easy to fix and the kinds of things that might happen in high pressure games early in a season when the Rockets are fitting their new pieces together and growing as a unit.

it gets harder and harder to read the forum, i was thinking the purpose was for fans to get together and post good info and takes on the game and the team in general. by reading this forum and didn't know any better i would think the team was 2-4. i try to ignore stuff but wow....
