First of all, I wasn't putting the blame on the players lighting us on Lin. I'm not all that impressed with Bev either.

But the blake example last night was a perfect one. The Rockets think that was Lin's man, fan's think it was Bevs.

Either way, our PGs together struggle with screens.

 

We still have brooks to back up haren for the 6 mins he's resting.

 

They probably looked at the replay and apologized. No biggie.

 

TNT broadcast showed Lin and Howard walking off the floor and he was seemed to point out something Howard was supposed to do (i'm assuming switch on the double pick) it didnt seem like a heated exchange unless they're talking about something else.

 

Imagine that you're Dwight Howard. You feel like a dog for missing 11 free throws in a game your team lost by 1 point. You acknowledge this, but you use the word "our," when everybody knows from the stats that you mean "me."

You also tell a friend privately that you're frustrated with the PG situation. You don't say this to the media, because you're not trying to deflect blame or damage team chemistry. But your private comment, to your chagrin, ends up on a bulletin board.

Dwight needs to fix his free-throw percentage. It's drowning out the rest of his game. His performance last night advertised to the whole league, "Keep fouling me, and you can win." He knows this. He doesn't need you to remind him.

Other than that, he's guilty of nothing. We're the ones creating this story, not him. Let it go.

 

Lin let Nash hold him like a little Girl Period! He was buddy buddy with this guy all summer! Should have fought through that hold and let the refs sort it out .at worst it would have been a tied ball game!

That's what I saw, D12 was supposed to switch. The poster said something happened in the tunnel, dunno if true.

!?!? Pretty clear if you're switching 1-5 ( which is what McHale said post game)....that became Howard's man. Pringles knows Dwight doesnt have great bball iq and play recognition, that's why he ran that play.

Double screen...Lin gets picked...the switch Bev gets picked too and Howard was in la la land staring at Pau Gasol and noticed too late that Gasol was standing there to screen Beverley and Blake got open and he was late coming over.

 

It was Beverly who suppose to switch but the Lakers play was for Gasol to screen the switcher 1, 2,3 Howard being the last option but Blake Pick and Pop in a sweet spot. It's called coaching putting your players in position and we didn't do anything to stop them.

 

He wants rondo or john wall.

what planet are you on?? the orders from the coach are switch all picks.....if Lin fought through it that would still mess things up cause the next guy goes "wtf i thought we were switching"

Your issue is not with Lin, it's with the coaching decision to switch.

if you recall the season last year, we didn't even make 1 ally oop pass for the first half of the season, once the team gelled, we started lobing to parsons...
