I think Dwight, in the end. Once Jeremy got screened, Bev was supposed to switch to Blake but Gasol screened him before he could. Dwight couldn't switch in time.

Seriously, the guy played a much more balanced and efficient game than both of your two maxed out players.....and you bring up this?

 

Besides the steals and blocks, he's also been playing excellent defense so far in the season, can easily argue he's been better defensively than Bev so far, although its a small sample size and bev's coming off an injury. We will discuss their defense after some more games.

But yes, Jeremy's been playing very good basketball to start the season, and he's been one of the most, if not the most consistent too.

 

DD is completely wrong and Kenny Smith is completely right. Lin is screened with a bear hug, its a double screen so Gasol half heartedly ass screened Bev who for some god knows reason peels back and into the paint instead of running out on Blake.

I have an idea let's stop forcing the ball to Howard when he is 15 feet from the basket play our run and gun players move pass the ball to the open man. I don't remember seeing Howard getting the ball getting double teamed and passing the ball out to aN open 3 do u. isn't that how inside out works

Harden is the superior player & Lin is OVER playing. That's the problem. Go ask your daughter how she feels about Lin & how poorly executed his 3 on 1 fastbreaks are.

 

If anyone has some stats on the performance of the lin, parsons, harden, howard, asik lineup that would be great.
That lineup always made sense to me in my mind as the only time that TT could actually work.
Love beverley and his defense but Lin is a better playmaker which I thought might have compensated for asik's and howard's incapabilities (3 playmakers vs. 2 nonplaymaers)
Just want to know if that evaluation has any actual statistical backing or if im just hoping for a TT lineup that can actually work

I didn't call them that. I believe that they have a chance to be good if given the right environment and I firmly believe that they should be given that.

What's the point if he doesn't convert. He hasn't been converting much from his ugly post moves, if not turning them over.

Can't say I remember any PnR he did with Bev or Lin. With Harden, yes. But effective ones are far and few in between.

 

Who is the PG? Harden or PSS?

 

Even Mchale said those stats mean nothing if the team isn't playing well/winning. It's the pgs responsibility, especially with superstars on the team, to make sure players are getting the ball where they're most comfortable. Yes, Lin is getting his when he's in the game. That's the problem. Or maybe McHale, all of the assistants AND players don't know what they're talking about either...

 

hell no, he's the best SG in the league, why would he? He can move without the ball too tho. Either way, cutting dead weight for something that could help them is a good idea.

 

Harden is definitely not the superior player this season, and neither is Howard.
