Dwight Howard: "Our free throws were terrible." He shot 5-for-16 (31.3 pct). Rest of his team shot 28-for-36 (77.8 pct) Classy.

He owns up.
What should be discussed is defense, coaching, and that damn pass by parsons. Ft were expected not to fall with DH
FTs were an issue, but they weren't THE issue. The real issue is twin towers at the start of these games are putting us in the hole, and then we have to play from a hole the entire time.
Sounds like Matt Schaub after throwing pick 6's. WE have to play better. 5 for 16 from the FT? If you could have just hit HALF of those we win the game easily.
Legit LOL. Im glad he owned up it. Though the Rockets shouldnt even have been in a position where Hack-a-Dwight could take place. The Lakers' starters are 300 years old, it's pathetic they got down 20 (again!) in the 1st half. They really need to get that sorted out.
Howard struggling from the line isn't a surprise, and it's exacerbated by the NBA not doing anything about hack a XXX ruining the game's watchability. Lin going 5-8 from the line for a PG is not good.
not sure if you watched the game but, Lin was sacked really hard during the fast break, then after missing the free throws he was subbed right away... could it be that he was hurt? sheesh some people will try and make things always about lin... howard struggling from the line is not a surprise, but at least make 50% of em... we could have easily have won if he made 50% free throws...
True, but 2 of those misses were after he took that ridiculously hard fall when his legs got tangled up in the air going to the rim on a breakaway. He was on the floor for a good 5 seconds and obviously shaken up some. Not an excuse, but understandable given that he's a decent FT shooter generally.
