I think a lot of people are overreacting. I will say this though, tonight's game was hard to watch, in terms of our guards not feeding him when he was in prime position in the paint or in some instances WIDE open in the paint. I can recall 3 possessions where Bev pushed the ball up, Dwight was open within 3 feet of the rim and he didn't pass him the ball because he was not scanning our half-court. Jeremy had 2 such possessions that I can directly recall and he was late on one which resulted in a turnover (Looked more like a chemistry thing more than anything else though because he didn't throw it up but threw a chest pass). Everything on the court is still correctable though, there is no need act like our grapes are being squeezed. I want to see how we respond to this loss when we play the Clippers this Saturday.

Lin lobbed to Tyson Chandler all the time in NY - and quite effectively too. Hell he made guys like Landry Fields and Novak look good.

Bev's played just a couple of games this year. And he was probably in pain in this one.

if this is true, then it might be a rocky few years. I would think that Bev and Lin are the type of guys you want to build a team around. Great work ethic, unselfish, etc. I think letting either one go will bite us in the ass down the road. We already have a very ball-dominant shooting guard. I think trading away Asik/Lin/Bev/Parsons/etc. for a ball-dominant point guard is not the answer. The Howard/Kobe/Nash thing didn't work out that great - and Gasol was sort of marginalized (though I blame that on Dantoni). Now we are seeing Asik marginalized - and I can't think that the Rockets would be able to get a better facilitator than Nash.

I agreed with Charles Barkley. You are playing a team that has not stopped making you out to be a villain for the first time on national tv and you play like a timid little girl?. Demand the ball by establishing yourself.

He picks and rolls all the time. The guards just aren't passing to him when he's open. I can understand the frustration.

If he got a chance to start and play with the real starting point guard maybe he would like the situation. Lin is better than the pg he had in Orlando.

He's a great rebounder/shot-blocker. It's unfortunate that McHale prevented Dwight and his partner in Dream's Deadly Combo from developing good chemistry, I think they'll eventually be fine.

Lin is not better than Nelson back in the day. Nelson, unlike any Rocket player on the team, actually knows how and when to throw the lob and/or feed Dwight.

yep, unless they got cp3 who can suppress the hero ballers, but they cant. or they got Jeff back or Stan and ride them hard make them accountable to their plays. if this horse **** keep going on they are going nowhere.

And the whole team was missing free throws, not just Howard, but of course he missed a lot b/c of the hacking and Parsons stupid inbounds play.

Trade Harden and Lin for a real point guard.

He said point guards, so he's not happy with either?

I'd bet most -- FO, coaches, players, fans -- aren't thrilled with the PG situation.

He's setting weak screens, tbh. If he screens at all, 80% of the time he's slipping the pick immediately to call for the ball.

PG isn't the issue. It's not even in the top 5 things this team needs to work on.
