Sources: Dwight isn't "thrilled" with PG situation.

No problem, I admit I was wrong by not mentioning his success in my act of rage. Here's to better games!

 

I don't think Morey will really let Dwight's thoughts influence his moves one way or another. He'd listen, but would still have to make independent decision based on the front office's own assessment.

Dwight doesn't exactly have a history of being a good talent evaluated. I recall that he asked for Big Baby Davis and Gilbert Arenas in Orlando. Didn't work out when they listened to him.

I'm sure Morey is watching what is happening objectively and would look for every opportunity for an upgrade of the team. For sure, I don't think the PG situation is ideal-- a true superstar like Steph Curry or CP3 would be "ideal"-- but the question is what's really available out there on the market.

In the mean time, it's up to the players and coaches to work things out with what they have. So, it's good that Dwight is "being patient"-- really has no choice in this matter.

 

LOL, Rockets fans already turning on Dwight 6 games into the season after wanting him desperately this offseason.

 

Im starting to think Howard is a straight up idiot. e continually begs for the ball in the post but turns over every time. Harden is showing no effort whatsoever on defense. Parsons is trying to do too much.

 

Only thing that worries me is Cyber was basically the one who knew about the freaking Dwight to Houston in the first place.

I mean this is ridiculous, we are in November and trying to get used to playing with each other. If these problems persist into January and February then yes, i'll be concerned.

Dwight needs to work on his free throws though, damn! I'm sure that will improve over time as well.

 

From the video posted on the game thread they were just talking and you are right Lin was far more pissed off.

Dwight wanted Monta Ellis but they got him Arenas instead.

They never went in that direction so we'll never know if it could have worked

 

Here is something that people here just need to understand-

When Morey met with Super Agent Dan Fegan and they agreed to terms to have his client Dwight Howard sign with the Rockets, Dan Fegan (who brokers trades ALL THE TIME) essentially became the new assistant GM for the Rockets.

Seeing as though Fegan wants what is best for his client (to win championships ASAP), he's going to get involved with helping the Rockets make deals. That's just the way it is now with superstars.

Of course Morey & Les are only going to trade who they want to trade, but that doesn't mean that he won't listen when the agent for whom his biggest star employs calls him up and says that he just got off the phone with so and so, and they are hearing that Y team is interested in Jeremy Lin or Omer Asik for X player.

You have to understand the situation here. Howard and Fegan want to win ASAP while Morey probably has a little more patience here. I suspect that Morey will eventually pull the trigger on something this season, but he needs to be careful to end up not in the situation that Orlando ended up with when they made the deal with Phoenix to re-aquire Turkaglo. That was agent driven for sure, and ended up costing Dwight in the end most likely when it didn't work out, and tied up their cap space to make further moves from that point on.

 

This is what I saw as well. It looked like Lin was super pissed about the defensive lapse and Dwight was trying to calm him down or at least talk to him.

If you think you can lob your way to a championship. By all means, just ship Lin out, the sooner the better.

Entire team needs to yell at each other. Guards and fowards cant hit jumpshots, bigs can't hit free throws and harden ISO ISO ISO and is to slow to guard Steve Blake.

 

It would be funny if Howard meant "HARDEN" and everyone is thinking it's Lin and Bev.
