This is where the "superstars" try to find someone to blame
uhhh let's blame Lin the most efficient player so far this season
Look at the season stats for the 6 games this season people
Harden yelling at Lin 2day I didn't see Lin yelling at Harden last game whe he really deserved it

 

Most of those experts also didn't think Lin was NBA worthy. They weren't all that right, were they?

 

Lol, its still very long season. No way we will win 82 games. We will be fine.

 

I think it's the last-second shot he put up. It was a broken play though so Harden was probably just venting or something.

During Linsanity Lin was not only scoring but dishing out assists as well. Drive-and-kick (Lin) is not the same as dribbling down the shot clock while ignoring your open teammates multiple times per game (Harden). Harden is no doubt the better player of the two for his ability to draw fouls, but saying they have similar games is laughable. And 9-of-24 isn't exactly "effective" shooting, no?

 

His defense was poor tonight. he was getting stuck to screens like nobody's business and he should have switched onto blake on that last possession that.

 

Or no defense. Hardens idea of closing in on 3 pt shooter ( Meeks) is to run right by him with ole defense. He did not run in front of him and contest with his hands - pathetic

All smart Rockets knew that. You have to be a delusional Rockets fan to think Rockets would be contending for a title. It takes time and team work to gel on little things, and little things win a championship. And it's on the coach and two so-called superstars to lead the way.

What you need to know about "The Pass" from Chandler to Dwight is that, it is a set play that the rockets run every time they inbound from under the basket. The ball is always passed to the 5 at the top of the key and the wings do a backdoor cut or screen to free each other. McHale should have caught that, plain and simple. Parsons was merely running a set routine play, unfortunately the play worked against the rockets.

There was a video posted about a week ago that broke this exact play down.

If you've ever read the book "When The Game Was Ours" you'll know that McHale does not have the killer instinct of Bird/Magic. He was just happy to be playing on the court. I think this same mentality has carried on to his coaching philosophy which is why you see a lot of head scratching decisions during a game.

He is just happy to be coaching.

 

Lin's only FGA in the 4th.

 

I would have like to see Brewer on that last play. At least we know he will play defense.

Beverley switching was the best solution if he could. The problem of Howard rushed to defense was the paint getting emptied with Gasol over there waiting for putback.

 

Cus he is trying to get them rebounds!

 

Harden's ISO and ****ty defence was a major reason of why we lost. You could say he contributed with 35 points but he would have arguably lost us that amount of points.

It has to be the most frustrating sight watching him chew up the shot clock and then defer to a teammate to throw up a prayer that has no hope of going in.

 

Clippers are literally the last team I want to play on Saturday. I can't handle another defensive implosion. They're just so painful.
