This is a fan site and LOFs have spoilt it, what do you expect? Even if Howard went 0-20 FTs and we lost the game after a 20pt lead and Lin didn't play the entire 4th quarter, we would still blame Lin.

Sad thing is, McHale seems to make his coaching decisions after reading the GARM.

If you were GM you would have a team of overpaid role players. Hey, why not offer Kwame Brown a max deal on top of that?

Look, I hate to spill it but there is no way the Rockets will ever win a championship if your two best players are Harden and Howard. Howard plays with no heart as much as Harden plays without D. Sure, Harden can score 30 points a night but he gives away 20 points to any regular SG and turns over several dimes a night. Houston is stuck with these two guys for the next what...four years?

Uh, because he was 5-16 from the foul line?

BTW, I'm actually not that PO'd at Parsons for the inbounds to Howard near the end. Yes, it was a boneheaded move by Chandler, but truth is Dwight has to learn to make at least one out of two late in the game or else we're not going to win a title. You can't be playing keep away with your star center in the final minutes of games.

This don't really get it. What did people expect from a first time starter? Give him a bit to get settled then he will play better.

That's actually what I'm most upset with along with his stupid inbound to Dwight. Bev and Lin had a miscommunication, sucks but what can you do. But Parsons didn't even try to hound the guy inbounding. I don't know what is up with him lately but he needs to stop being the 3rd star and just play his game.

So you agree that the reactions on Lin aren't based on his play, but rather from the posts of his fans? Doesn't seem too rational to me.

A 1st time starting coming off injury early. Arguably, he, Asik, and Dwight are the only players who remotely know what the word defense means...

yeah harden needs to STFU, i totally agree.

i feel that lin this game took a lot of initiative and was carrying us when we were recovering from the deficit. harden decided to show up late in the game, but he needs to trust his team mates and pass the ball NOT with 3 seconds on the clock left. his ISO looks are getting better, but he needs to trust his team mates more

chemistry is something we are lacking, or trust.

Got the same feeling. I am curious where the hates are from. I feel a lots of negative comments toward Lin are are either purposely or just being stupid and annoying.

Lin benched at the end of the first half

Did you guys notice Lin's look of disgust towards the bench (most likely McHale) when McHale benched him after he went for the layup instead of passing to the open Harden? A few minutes later McHale looked very uncomfortable on the bench (a call from Morey or Les perhaps?) and Lin was back in with about 2 minutes to go because Cisco was off big time. If you're not going to use him, trade him to a team that will (LOF and LOH both win).

Lin is turning into the Mario Chalmers of the Heat, the team's whipping boy. But Harden is no Lebron (he's not even Wade when Wade decides to play) and I would take Bosh over D12 in the last 5 minutes of a game.

Bev looks 100% recovered, he's just as explosive and athletic as pre-injury. He is making terrible mental mistakes though e.g. over-dribbling and playing Delfino ball (this is when a player forgets his role and tries to do too much).

What gets lost in all of the LOH v LOF silliness is how much Asik was screwed over this past season. After last season, he was set to cash in on a huge contract after next season ($12-$15 million easy). He's in his prime, a true 7-footer, great rebounder and defensive player, and he's durable (what other big started all 82 games last season?). Sure he has hands of stone but there aren't a lot of bigs like Asik, he was set to get paid.

Now with the reduced minutes, he won't even average 10 rebounds a game. He'll probably lose a couple of million a season in his next contract.
