The only option is to bench Howard to close out games..... Don't think that will go well....

Do I want the Rox's to have the best coaching staff in the league? Absolutely, but we still have glaring holes in our player personnel.

No, it is not 6 games...it is last season to.

The team is undisciplined, doesn't understand the other teams personnel or seemingly understand situations.

Their go to play is a Harden Iso...as great as Harden is...that can't always be your go-to play. ISO is great when a play breaks and you don't have time to get into another...not just coming out of a break and you need 2 points to put the game away.

I hope Clutch just locks this thread. McHale shouldn't be anywhere near the hot seat.

    Classic Clutchfans knee jerk.

How young were last season? How young are we still?

Did we exceed or disappoint outsiders' expectations last season?

Again, you want the best coaching staff, but what are your realistic options.

You can bench him for a few minutes until the 2 minute mark.

what was worse was that Harden was coming towards the ball moving away from the rim...

And on the converse...Blake moved towards his shot...and it was wide open..Parsons shouldve totally obstructed the inbound attempt...Total break down on coaching, communication and execution by the Rockets.

    Mchale was outcoached by Pringles

And currently we are top 5 in pt differential despite our lack of discipline.

This is the entire game here.

They are sometimes doubling in the post during the game...why? For what reason? Is Hakeem down there or something? Their strategy on defense was horrible.

Coming into the 2nd half mchale says. "They are getting penetration still..." So what? Who cares? They are beating you with threes, if they go inside they aren't scoring on our bigs. It's dumb, you got those bigs for exactly that reason.

That could be a legit option, but I still see the main issue being the Howard + Asik combo. This is clearly coming from upstairs to try and appease Asik while trying to showcase him for the next move.

As much as I am a fan of Lin and his game. Harden got a lot of free throw attempts and we have to consider that when looking at shooting %s.

As long as beverly is on the floor, dwight will always be at a disadvantage. Bevs a good fit for harden, but bad fit for dwight. Lins a bad fit with harden but good fit with dwight. At some point in the season a choice will have to be made. Personally i believe that harden's game wont suffer as much as dwights would as james is more versatile.

Better Players , still the same crappy Coach.

Hakeem the Dream would be a better coach than Mchale, because Mcfail was never hired for his coaching credentials but because of Morey's closeness and association with the Boston Celtics, truth be told.

Rick Adelman would have had this team running like a well-oiled machine.

Didn't notice this. I did notice the Roxs defense trying to collapse the paint as the Laker's spread the floor quite well with shooters.

Aside from the Killer Blake 3, they went pretty cold in 2nd half.

But hey, we are 6th in the league. Let's fire McHale and replace him with who......?

This is what I couldn't understand the whole night either. The Lakers only chance to beat teams is to jack up threes. Gasol isn't as good as he use to be and he was trash tonight and Kaman wasn't doing anything, yet still the Lakers were wide open on the three. Rox looked stupid out there on D and thats poor reflection of the staff.

This was mind boggling to watch. Why woukd he have parsons give up the entire effing weak side of the court???? Get in the inbounders face and make it hard as hell for him to make a decent pass. It wont matter if they running some uber baseline screen play under the backboard if the inbounder doesnt have a clean passing lane. This should be coaching 101

Again..... 5th in pt differential and 6th place in the league a whooping 6 games in.

But hey.... let me shut you up by asking who is a realistic option to replace McHale? We going to build a contender with Kelvin Sampson at the helm?

That coach MDA has a pretty good offensive mind. They spread the floor with shooters and got red hot from beyond the arc in the first half. What was their fg % in the 2nd half?

In every game I notice players looking around confused, clueless, and disorganized. It starts at the top. McHale is a hot mess and needs to go.
