We lost the game because of lack of coaching. Not any player's fault. Howard has been like that, so coach need to know what to respond within the two minuts zoon. On the last play, again we got beat by better coaching.

a travesty that Lin only got 3 shots the whole 2nd half.

Lin got iced out in the 4th. Only shot he took was the one with the clock running out. Harden refused to pass to him on multiple occasions and just took bad ISO shots instead. I have a feeling none of the starters really want Lin as their teammate.

It's always the same pattern. The start is horrendous and after that the team is trying to chase itself back to the game. The Rockets outscored the Lakers in the three remaining quarters. How come Casspi comes out of every game with a positive +/- (this time the highest). It doesn't mean that he needs to start, but it indicates that some of the other lineups are dysfunctional. If you want to become a contender, you need to fix that.

Asik does not have to be traded he can come off the bench. We played better in the preseason with DMo and Tjones at PF. Just have a dumb coach who doesn't recognize talent as attested to by his poor decisions when he was GM of Minnesota.

how are you supposed to fight through a bear hug? it was illegal so the play shouldn't have counted anyway. I'm just saying, it really was bev's responsibility to rotate out to blake. What was he doing deep in the paint?

**** Kenny Smith. Bev is a defensive force the likes of which this league has never seen! He recovered from a bad start to smother the Laker guards and bring us back in this game. That was Lin's man on that last play and Lin played like a scrub the whole game!!!

Kenny and Chuck both said Bev should have switched, instead of staying in no-man's land. But I agree that Lin shared some fault as well. On that play, 4 guards were pushed each other as close as they were, it just smells disaster. Either Blake or Nash would break loose, as soon as the ball was inbounded. That was so obvious, and they should have seen that coming and guarded outside.

But this game didn't lose on the last play, far from it; we didn't lose on the Parson's inbound or Howard's missing FTs, or even Harden's ugly ISOs. It was lost partially because of that big hole in the first quarter, and more importantly, we lost because we had no clue what kind of game we are playing. We had an identity last year, but right now, we are just solely relying on talents. One day we go through Howard, another day we rely on Harden's hot hand. There were nice 2- or 3-man combination plays every now and then, but there is no team concept or team playing strategy at all.

    This better changes.

Free throws is really why we lost this game

Have to admit this game was troubling to watch.

From an offensive execution standpoint, we looked horrendous.
From a hustling/effort standpoint, we got outplayed.
From a coaching standpoint, we got outcoached.
From a free throw standpoint, we looked really bad.
From a 3 point shooting standpoint, we had a horrible night.
From a defensive standpoint, we have a lot of work to do at the 2 guard slot.

What are you talking about? Lin was a big reason why the Rockets were able to claw back, and he was the 2nd highest scoring Rocket along with Parsons and was shooting 5/8.

This loss is on Dwight. He's gotta do better from the FT line.

Lin made a shot at when shot clock runs to 23.x sec, on that possession, where everybody was waiting for hack-a-howard.

This ****ing game is so frustrating. Beverley can run and challenge that shot if he's prepare...he didn't attempt to do it...never mind getting caught. This team play some serious dumb basketball tonight. Parsons passing to Dwight and get foul?? How stupid can you be. All game, the Asik + Howard combo don't work. We need to change the lineup. This team obviously was not prepare...they were missing shots that they should make. It's so damm embarrassing losing to the Lakers that don't have much talents. I can't even think right now.
