Makes sense. We'll just slot him in between Cousins and KG in the espn rankings. Although maybe KG has more left in the tank at 37 than you think. Oh well, I think we can safely put him in front of Greg Monroe. Maybe.
this is absurd, in the finals he had three bad games, an okay game and a good game so an okay showing, and are you really going to put the blame on a 22 year old in his third year in the NBA who was the sixth man of the team, not even the biggest contributor? and in the playoffs against OKC he averaged 26.1 i think, so I don't know what you're talking about there. He was also playing injured and against a team basically knew his entire game. (apologize for my grammar, on my phone)
Not only a top 5 player but the top SG in the nba: http://www.nba.com/news/2013-14-nba-gm-survey/index.html?cid=nba_12_twitter_L
Yeah it does, but nobody in their sane mind thinks Harden is a top 5 player. Heck a top 7-8 player shouldn't give up 50-75% of what you score on the other end... He's very turnover prone, horrific defender, bad decision making, selfish play during the end of games. My top 5: 1. Lebron 2. Durant 3. Paul 4. George 5. Love (His defense has improved)
Not trying to argue he's Top 5... But to be fair...the 3's and FT's are a product of design. That's just how he plays and that's why he's so efficient. He's shown the ability to hit the mid range and finish and-1's. Offense is not what's keeping Harden out of the Top 5...
eh dirk and nash were top 5 players at times during their career without ever being elite defensively. imo harden is kinda overrated offensively
