He seems to be dealing with regular injuries. He's had a ton of touches over several years. We know running backs historically break down after a few seasons of heavy use. What's the harm in sitting him? Use up Ben Tate for all he's got left, he's leaving us anyway. Rest Arian all season, let his body recover. He can train hard this summer and truly be ready for 2014-15. When he and Case Keenum will take over the league.
So pay him millions to sit on the bench? What about next season, if he has a small injury, should we sit him another year? No thanks.
Use Ben Tate and all his cracked ribs up. Sounds like a good idea. I don't want to use the IP word but man, all these "nagging" injuries for Foster...
New team or not, with cracked/broken ribs, hopefully they do him better than that. Why not toss Matt Schaub out there? Use up whatever he has left of his arm and save Case? Matt Schaub is likely gonna have a new team next year. Right?
how many weeks is he out? I must admit, after the rams game, I completely stopped listening to texans talk. too depressing. If the docs say he can play, he should play.
I'd sit him out. If not for the rest of the year, at least for quite a few games. Also, I'd be OK with putting Schaub in to play some occasional fullback.
Dennis Johnson is going to be legit, just have a feeling. I was upset when they cut him after the preseason. But glad to see we got him back. Like said above, he will be our starter before end of the season. If you have Tate or Foster on fantasy team, pick up Johnson now for insurance.
