this is so much better for team balance, the correct move and the better one for J Lin as well

Was expecting this. Bev didn't look like he was coming back from injury at all last game. Expecting a big game from him tonight. He's going to destroy old man Nash.

Should be not such big news...but not sure why the two above posters are so excited...? Was Lin that bad in the previous 5 games? Don't think the talent gap between the two warrants such excitement for Bev.

Really interested to see if the Bev + TT line-up can repeat its pre-season success. Awesome! Lin was better in the 6th man role imo

We should get more fluid offense with Bev starting and Lin off the bench. Wanna see that intense defense on Nash. lol.

people celebrating like we got KEVIN LOVE or something.... Lin was solid and improved, nothing wrong with bev starring, but crazy seeing rocket fans react like like Lin played like crap, good example here there are a lot of people who just don't Lin to succeed even if he plays with the rockets they hope he fuc%s up

You know why. Anyways, either way we should be able to do well against these guys. Jordan Farmar is pretty quick and the of match ups are gonna be fun.

They must have really thought Bev was going to lose it. In any case, this didn't need its own thread.

    Interesting.

But he never had a chance to properly test Beverley in the starting lineup, so I'm not surprised. If the starting lineup doesn't have enough firepower I don't think McHale will hesitate to put Lin back in.

If anyone hopes Lin ****s up they arent true Rockets fans. I think ppl just really like Patrick and are excited about his success, just like Lin fans are excited for Lin's.

Garcia is the 6th man, Lin isn't.
He's just come off the bench because McFail wants it.

Jeremy Lin will learn more from being the 6th man than being a starter. I like that role for him.

Or because there's plenty of basketball reasons that benefit the Rockets, maybe not Lin's career personally, for it
