So tell us, have you stalked and harassed any other iconic sports figures as of late? It's because of people like you athletes have to be extra cautious in public. Recently, my friend approached Yao to ask for an autograph in an appropriate setting but was turned down. Yao was probably thinking this guys gonna follow me home and want pictures of my mom. You must have gotten the same deal I did at Verizon. But the iPad 2 went on sale on 3/11/11, about 2.7 years ago. Still, a great low-cost upgrade!

 

Well, the young lady working the Mobile Department at my local Target was very helpful and friendly and happy to exchange my iPad 1st gen for the $200 card.

Heck of a deal for an iPad I bought used 2 years ago for $250.

 

Over here in Cali the lady at the Target was just giving out gift cards for the ipads. Didn't force us to buy an ipad. Buddy went to the Sugarland one and got a gift card as well.

Traded in my first gen for 200 bucks and now I can wait to see if the Ipad Air comes back in stock in time, or worst case I traded a paper weight for $200 bucks.

 

The guy in line in front of me had just bought 4 gen1 iPads off ebay or craigslist for $90 each. He brought two into Target for the $200 cards and did something at GameStop with the other two.

All in all a good deal. Got my wife the new iPad Air and saved an additional 5% using the Target credit card.

 

Yet you know the posting history of someone/something that happened years ago. I'll toast when this nic you're using is banned, too. Trololol.

 

I'm trying to reset my daughter's ipad before trading it in but it's taking forever. Had to reboot and am trying again. I found a Target in my area with black and white minis available.

 

Keep in mind that the minis that are available are not the new ones. They won't be released until later this month.

 

Still a pretty good deal if you're trading in an old first generation iPad. The mini will have better specs all around.

 

I wonder what Target is doing with all these old Ipads?

 

Plug it in to your pc and restore it via iTunes. Then set it up as a new device. Much faster.

I did. Worked great.

I went to a Target in Katy. 4 people in line. An old couple was in front getting a 2 new iphones. It took over 45 freaking minutes and I finally had to leave to pick up my kids. They could still be in line for all I know. Afterward I went to the Target at I-10 and Fry Road, was in and out in 10 minutes with a new iPad mini for my daughter (early Christmas present).

 

I agree. Just wanted to make sure folks don't think the new minis are out.

 

New ipad mini for my daughter was met with tears of unhappiness because I traded in her first gen ipad that had minecraft on it. Go figure.
