If you're desperate, here's a live stream of some guys playing PS4: http://www.twitch.tv/officiel_jvcom In French though.
I'm so confused as to which console to get that I'm going to wait I guess. All this stuff is making my head spin.
So I have the launch unit from Amazon. When does it come? Friday on the dot? Edit: Says Friday by 8. It better workout. How much are these things selling for? If it's less than $850 I'm opening the **** out of it.
I'm also not sure which system to buy. Kinda leaning towards the Xbox after all the changes they made. Still....will likely hold off a little while to see what happens once both systems are out in the wild.
I say get both consoles. Not because of the whole "both will have great games" BS, but so you can plug you PS4 into your Xbox One and destroy the universe (1080p gaming and all!).
We're about one week away from next gen gaming and I still dont know which console I'm getting. I own a xbox 360 and absolutely loved playing battlefield 3 because I joined a dedicated online server (jokers madhouse) that requires all players to use their mics to communicate and work as a team. It turns out they're starting a new battlefield 4 server for xbox one, but I'm sort of leaning towards getting a PS4 because of the better graphics. I dont know which one to get. PS4 for the graphics or Xbox one for online community?
It seems like everyone I know is ditching xbox and going over to ps4. I might be headed that way too and its a shame cause I am really going to miss that xbox controller.
There are no games I am really looking forward to at launch that I can't get already on PC. I'll wait til next year and see what each has to offer, perhaps get both eventually like I did with xbox and ps3.
I don't think you'd miss it much. I have a DS4 and I believe it's better than the 360 controller (for reference I hated every single other PlayStation controller before this one)
I believe they asked one MS exec at one point (can't remember who), and I think he pretty much confirmed you could probably do that (or at least MS wouldn't stop it...maybe Sony could somehow). Not sure how it would work in practice. Surprised no one in the press has tried it yet, though I guess retail/debug units are still a little hard to obtain. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think so. I think PS4 works a little differently, and they're not supporting a lot of accessories that PS3 supported. Maybe later on down the line... (or just need to wait until a PS4 adapter comes out?)
From the reports I've read, a lot of stores are getting over a hundred PS4's. I think supply should be able to meet demand. Up to launch, the prices will go up, but after it launches I think the prices will drop.
Nice! Congrats! On a side-note, I have no idea what is going on here: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/lIxFeq_OvkE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://www.vg247.com/2013/11/08/ps4-gets-bizarre-hadouken-cabs-viral-teaser-watch-it-here/ http://www.hadoukencabs.com/
I hope the prices stay reasonable, I want to play mine, not sell it, but I cant justify not selling it if I can make $350 off it.
