    Well put. Last years defensive rating by synergy in terms of PPP Had Lin slightly more effective on defense.

    Parsons looked great at the beginning of last year and he sustained his ability to score and defend throughout last year. He appears to be very different this year. His shot is off and his impact on the floor has decreased. Wonder whats up, besides Howard on the floor with him.

    Parsons seems to have a swelled head.

    Probably Lin or Parsons. Beverley still hasn't really proven himself offensively. He is our best perimeter defender though.

    But why do we need to have a "third" guy anyways? I mean on defense, Harden (our "the man") should be getting the easiest defensive assignments. On offense, just go with what works the best. Harden is our only elite scorer. All the others don't come close.

    JH = 13.
    DH = 12.
    1+3+1+2 = 7 = Lin.
    13+12 = 25 = Parsons.
    3+2-1-1 = 3 = Asik.

    Joking aside, based on their overall stats, contribution and significant presence, I'll say Lin.

    It's clearly been Lin so far.

    damn look at those post counts, you're a beast.

    Yes Bev will probably be back in the the starting line up once Bev feels healthy enough. Don't see McHale wanting to deviate too much from their original plan.

    How can this person not be the #3 player on this team based on the 5 games played so far (and meaningful minutes)? Thinking who should be the #3 and knowing who is already the current #3 are two different things.

    Points - 3rd on team
    Assists - 1st on team
    Field Goal % - 2nd on team
    Free Throw % - 2nd on team
    Three Point % - 3rd on team
    Steals - 2nd on team

    and yes 3rd in TOs. With Bev being out pretty much the first 4 games, Lin has proven that he solid plays was a big part of the current record. That Clippers game was just an anomaly...if you think about it. You break records with pure bad teams not a top caliber team.

    plain and simple as it is, lin is #3 behind harden and howard. I know it's very hard for many posters to say.

    Jeremy or parsons, whoever is having a better game. Every now and then casspi or Beverly or Garcia.

    The fact that this is even a question either means your team is horrible past your top two players or your team is very deep.

    Thank god for us it's the latter.

    Well what do you know, these two have high probabilities of being traded after the all-star break or next season.

    I concur. Give credit where it's due people. For first five games, Jlin for sure.

    At the moment I say JLin but I'm expecting the position to levitate with Parson thruout the season.

    So far, Lin/Asik>Parson/Casspi>Garcia/PB. PB's sample size is too small so far, will probably move up as he plays more.
