I wouldn't trade 48min of elite defense in the middle for a stretch 4. I can already see people crying about the layup drills other team's having when Dwight sits if we traded away Asik.

Its too early to really get a good feel for the team so far there jellying lets see in about another month what the record is and how the chemistry is working.

clippers interior defense is pretty good. lin couldn't do much until DJ in foul trouble.

Not just Lin, it was Harden as well. DJ and BG are just too athletic inside the paint for either Lin or Harden to drive in.

I know. I am not here to talk about harden or anyone else. I am not here to blame lin for that loss. what I am trying to say overall lin is a good pg but not a very good pg who can break down opponents defense like cp3, dw, tp and...

I think it is your grading. CP3 and TP are top, elite point guards. They are more than very good as most people would think. I find Lin can break down defenses and is improving at doing so, he doesn't have the reigns to do so now but he did moreso in NY when he wasn't as good until Miami targeted him and now he goes to the next level on the learning curve. But I don't expect Lin to play like CP3 or TP because he doesn't have the experience yet. I think Lin is definitely "very good" but I think your grading puts him at good which is fine because you say now that CP3 is very good.

Leaving the Suns was his own decision so he could spend more time with his teenage kids; probably something he wished his father could have done. His father was assassinated in Beirut when Kerr was in college.

You can argue about the trades he made. But the fact is, the Suns got to the conference final in his 2nd year as GM, without D'antoni. And you know how good D'antoni had been with the knicks.

Kerr was against acquiring Shaq but Pringles & Sarver wanted that move.

They are biding their time till LMA becomes more available. If not, then look for Ryan Anderson to be brought in at the deadline.

Spot on by Kerr, and credit to McHale for handling it well. I don't think a lot of coaches would do as well with as many redundancies as we have in our best players.

I would trade Asik for Jeff Green straight up if the salaries match. Green can shoot, defend and is athletic. He would be a great fit here at the 4 spot. Some of y'all are overrating Asik. He is a great defender and rebounder but he can't even catch a pass. Some posters act like we can get Love or Aldridge for Asik....
