How they chose this clown over Phil Jackson will remain aystery. Jim Buss and his ego really got the better of him. His sister had convinced phill to comeback but Jim decided that Pringles was the right man for the job. lool.

It's as if D'Antoni is pretending he never threw Pau Gasol under the bus by throwing Howard under the bus. MDA is a hack, man.

Didn't he and melo come to blows or close to it?. Amare didn't like him much and his relationship with Gasol is notorious. It seems no one enjoys this guy much.

I loved Jamison's comment in the article about Kobe....He doesn't strobe any egos. He should have added "except his own"

    Well!
Since now you have a #1 option in Xavier Henry and a top notch shooter in Nick Young, we are all happy for you, Mike.

Dream big, son, dream big. Let's all hope you guys can land Wiggins this coming summer, while you still keep your job. Kind hard, but we can all dream, right?

    This was in that article:

Lakers fans like to think they're trolling Dwight, but really he's trolling them. It's just a game to him.

Why did he have to say anything? He could've just said "Dwight made a decision he thought was the best for him. Now move on."

Seriously Pringles, everybody remembers that you benched Pau Gasol last year too. Stop trying to act as if you've had his back the whole time. You haven't.

It must be weird for him to look at our team. He had 2 former players that had opposite effects to his career. One made him look real good while the other, made him look like a shmuck.

There is someone in the Buss family who should be running the Lakers. And why she isn't is a mystery to me.

i'm praying so hard that we destroy LA tonight. If we lose, we will never hear the end of it.

Earl Clark was one of the main reasons the Lakers went on that streak at the end of last season. Him, Steve Blake coming back from injury and playing out of his mind, and the 9-15 depth chart guys that D'Antoni alienated that he ended up having to play because of injuries. Exit interviews were funny, I especially liked Goudelock's. It was pretty clear a lot of guys didn't give a damn about the team or D'Antoni

Anyway... if Rockets play defense, they win

maybe in pringles' eye test, having kobe stall the offense and keep his Ppg near 30 appeared more important than finding ways for Gasol and Howard to strive. after all, pringles doesn't get that job without being Kobe's favorite team u.s.a coach.

"Go set picks and grab boards, howard. and hook me up with one your white big booty girls." - kobe -

I'm expecting a huge game from dwight. 37 or more! no hackadwight if he's making 80% again

I expect him to do what 90% of the other coaches in the NBA would do... say nothing at all.

D'Antoni's useless without an elite point guard / rollman and pnr centered offense. Doesn't like posting up, unwilling to stick more than one big in the paint (as much as I hate Mike Brown, at least he tried to do stuff like 4-5 pnr). Doesn't care about defense all that much, which is why the Lakers hired Rambis this year.

Phoenix he was awesome because he had an elite pg and rollman and shooters. He's an offensive genius with that type of roster. NY he was a genius until they traded away half the roster for Melo. Then he had no pg that could get in the paint, only Toney Douglas who picked up his dribble at the 3 line. Eventually he found out Lin could get in the paint at will, paired him with Tyson and went on another win streak. Then Melo came back, starting camping his favorite spot above the elbow ruining pnr spacing, and D'Antoni was useless again.

With the Lakers, he's been useless, it's aggravating to watch. The guy's the definition of a one trick pony when it comes to coaching.
