Interesting bits from the WaPo, but it sounds like, more than anything, the Obama administration needs to take a page from Clutchfans on how to best deal with trolls. :)

(I know the ignore function is harder in national politics than on a BBS.)

Thanks for posting the article. Things make more sense after reading that. The Repubs share blame for gumming up everything, however their bitter and misguided opposition was known. It was Obama's plan and he needed to figure out how to create some sort of common ground to work from. I don't know.... It's like one giant pissing contest in Washington. So frustrating to see.

Would you agree that blame should be meted out to the people who deserve it? Many, including people you decry as "lefties" have admitted and heaped plenty of (deserved) blame on the administration. Why exactly is it impossible for you to admit that a small amount of blame indeed belongs with the Republicans who tried everything they could to blow the whole thing up?

Government screw up plan and simple. It would have happened to reps or dems. Hire some cronies who have 0 experience to sem-manage a contracted company who hires whoever is available ASAP to fill seats and write code. It's a recipe for disaster...or in this case Obamacare.

But really dems, you can't blame this on reps based on a wapo article.

ok texxx....I just talked to my dad for about 30 min about Obamacare. He convinced me it was Obama's fault. He said, "Obama is a ****ing lying piece of **** Chicago politician who has never accomplished anything in his life." He had a couple different angles to expound upon that point. Some of those were, "That liar never would have got the bill passed if he hadn't lied to everyone. ****ing piece of ****." And another point my dad made was, "He is a lying piece of ****."

It's hard to argue with that!

Your dad, while blunt, shares the opinion that MANY hold of Obama. Now that people are over the hopey change huckster BS he sold his voters on, his shine has worn off since he hasn't accomplished anything.

My dad + Scotch = profanity laced Barack Obama/Democrat rant

I disagree with him a lot politically. He views a lot of things in black and white and is pretty partisan even though he won't admit it lol, but he's actually fought in a war for this country so he can say whatever the hell he wants.

That said I don't trust anything that comes out of the administration's mouth or most anyone from Washington anymore. The whole hope change is just another politician's bs and Obama is no different.

Obama throwing it down in Perry's backyard today!

Obama Pushes For Medicaid Expansion In Texas

President Barack Obama on Wednesday encouraged supporters in Dallas to help lobby Gov. Rick Perry (R) to expand Medicare in Texas, one of several states that refused the opportunity to expand insurance coverage to nearly a million of its poor citizens under the Affordable Care Act.

Obama said he was frustrated with "folks who are complaining about how the websites not working ... and yet they're leaving a million people right now without health insurance, that they could immediately fix."

Obama said that Texas would greatly benefit from Medicaid expansion.

"There's no state that actually needs this more than Texas," he said during a speech at Temple Emanu-El in Dallas.

"I'm going to be with you the entire way until we get this done," he added.

Nothing adds less to an adult conversation than a FAUX news screen capture. Come on, man. They've been shown to mishandle, distort, and invent data to the extent that you have to consider them TMZ.

Don't think of it as losing a plan, look at it as the government taking over your healthcare.
