You've stopped making sense. I never he said he should chase her outside to bear hug her. I never once suggested that anyone simply ask them politely for anything.

You're just making stuff up now.

If you'd like to go back and read my posts and discuss them, I'd be happy to, but you're trying to pretend like I said things I didn't in order to make it seem silly.

I wouldn't defend hitting a woman, and I certainly wouldn't make stuff up and put the words in your mouth to make you look worse for defending hitting a woman.

Having the right to do something doesn't make it the right thing to do.

You guys are talking all rational and stuff. Alcohol throws all that out the window. She was dumb, and I don't defend the guy. I also don't blame him.

I'd like to think if you have THAT much of a physical advantage over someone, and no weapons involved, you just push her out/away. Give a stern warning, that if she escalates any further, she's getting pushed down to the concrete and restrained.

Striking a woman, *in a situation like this*, can't say I agree. There are many other situations that DO call for it, like it or not.

Not really sure what happened to them. That was definitely excessive.

^otherwise, just imagine what they can get away with when they know they're not on video.

See to me the story there in that video is more UK gentlemen. We definitely have that degree of b**** here, but I cannot imagine any american male getting repeatedly smacked in the face like that & just responding with a calm "Oh come on, behave yourself, you're taking the piss" etc.

Not even Saint F.B. lol Since there was no escape, I would have at least restrained her. Bear hugged her until the next stop. Of course that would have resulted in instant shrill screams of rape. BTDT removing a prostitute from a hotel (never again).

You said he should bear hug her, restrain her, grab her arms. How do you suggest he do that? Ask her to come close so he could hold her oh so tightly? She's going to fight back, and being 3 feet out the door already, he will OBVIOUSLY have to go outside the safety of the restaurant and leave himself to be surrounded.

I already said, that he should back up from the door. If she followed him in, then he would have room to do it. That was in previous posts. So no he wouldn't have to go outside. If she didn't follow him in, then problem would be solved already.

I said that in one of the first posts I made.

I doubt he could have gotten her in a bear hug with that crowd of friends around her. A bear hug honestly could have resulted in a worse situation. You completely ignore that those guys outside the restaurant were harassing either the employees or the other customers inside while ruining the dining experience for everyone. That crowd of people were thrown out for something that wasn't even caught on camera. Blonde woman could have threatened violence before footage began. We simply don't know the whole story and again the worst that resulted from this is that young woman was hopefully humbled and honestly the guy is probably receiving worse punishment for it.

For all you know though the blonde could be carrying a firearm or a knife of some sort or someone in the crowd could have. A bear hug would have made him all the more vulnerable to the crowd by walking into the crowd and more vulnerable to an attack from the crowd. One of them, who might have had a weapon, which would have put green hoodie guy in more danger. And instead of being the guy that punched a sixteen year old girl through a window after he DEFENDED himself twice (and if you really watch the video, you can look at those two punches as two one armed pushes to the face to keep the woman and the crowd from him), he could be the guy in the hospital that got shanked by a knife in the kidney for bear hugging and trying to do what's "right."

First rule of life should be, once able, you should always hold personal accountability and look out for yourself. Especially when violence is involved because it could mean your very survival. Again, I'm not saying you should go UFC and try to kill someone for attacking you, but you have every right to defend yourself and that's all that guy did. It's not his responsibility to look out for the stupidity of a teenage girl that sounded under the influence and tried to strike blows at him twice.

Do you hold the girl accountable for her stupidity at all FranchiseBlade?

Because let's say, this girl had a history of violence. She knows about this unwritten law where she can do damn near whatever she wants to a guy and the guy can't lay a finger on her. So she does it the rest of her life because no one humbled her and showed her that her actions weren't right. Those two jabs were justice. And as much as I like to think people can change, sometimes a good punch in the face is the best way to insight that change. The kind of change that says, "Hey stupid woman! Stop trying to kick my nut sack! Hey idiot! Stop trying to hurt me and get inside the restaurant and ruin everyone's experience! You and your friends aren't welcome here anymore!" Not everyone can be rationalized with, especially in the heat of the moment and especially after physical violence is in play. This isn't saying, hit women. This isn't saying, hit men. This is saying, defend yourself at all cost and then assess the situation if you're able afterwards so that you can handle it better should a similar situation happen again.

What if on top they were banging the restaurant doors or threatened to break the glass windows and that prompted security which the green hoodie guy is apart of to go out there and do his job? Again, the crowd is at fault first. And we're watching a one plus change video of a situation that extends beyond that one minute of footage.

Listen, I don't work security but I have friends that do. None of them wake up every morning and think to themselves, "Gee, I hope I run into a verbally violent woman today that's drunk while I make 11/hr. I hope she tries to kick me in the jewels today and that she's underage and has a bunch of people around her that are friends. I hope she tries to hit me twice even. That would make my day."

You will never convince me that the woman should not have been struck. The woman should have never struck in the first place. The woman and her friends should have been more civil and not gotten themselves thrown out of a restaurant. That woman should hold her booze better and control her violent temper. But Franchise, its the guy that's at fault. He's a p-ussy. Right.

I don't think restraining someone would make things worse. I understand they were thrown out. They were unruly and shouldn't be allowed to stay. But if it's allow someone to get back in while they are restrained in order to avoid bashing her through a window, I think it makes sense.
If one of them had a weapon punching the girl through the window wouldn't stop them from using it. It would be more likely that holding the girl in a bear hug would unknowingly cause her to be a human shield and help keep the weapon from being used.

As has been pointed out, nothing that guy did made it seem like he was in fear of serious injury. He wasn't, and didn't need to be.
But it wasn't a life threatening situation. It wasn't a matter of take preservation maneuvers or green giant faces serious injury. There wasn't going to be any serious injury inflicted by the girl.
Yes of course, I don't think anyone has defended anything the girl did. I've said repeatedly she should have been held for law enforcement, and put in her place. I don't waste my time talking about what a horrid individual she was being, because I don't think anyone doubts that. She started the hitting. It was her that initiated it. I'm not denying that at all.
Bottom line is I don't think a guy twice her size knocking her through the window taught her a lesson about attacking guys and being an idiot. If anything it showed her what bullies authority figures can be, or how awful people are, or whatever other misguided crap she would pull from it. The people I know that have gotten in fights because of drunken stupidity have that situation repeat. It doesn't end when they learn a lessen by losing a fight one time.

Honestly I think if she tried to hit him and kick him, and he started laughing at her pathetic attempts, and pointing out how futile her weak ass attempts would be at getting to him, she would have been humiliated and better taught her the lesson that kicking and punching at guys won't get the reaction she wants. Throw in whatever other mocking insults he wanted to deepen the humiliation and make it worse. I think it serves the purpose far more than what happened.

I agree with you that the woman and crowd were at fault first. I agree they should most definitely behaved differently. But that isn't mutually exclusive to the guy being a p***y. He was. He was in no real danger, and knocked a girl through a sheet of glass.

I think both things are possible, and were what happened. The fact that the girl who got hit was such an ass, and behaved in such an idiotic horrible manner makes it easy for people to think she should have been punched through a sheet of glass.

I'm not going to defend a guy for doing that to woman when it wasn't necessary at all. I don't defend guys beating women.

The most brutal girl fight ever. Nothing comes close to the rawness of this, nothing. You lose a fight like this, the result can be devastating.

The white knight act is hilarious. FB is the type that would probably question why the cops had to use deadly force on a gunman instead of shooting the gun out of his hands.
