Since the beginning of the offseason until now, who do you guys think has been the biggest surprise so far? I'd tip my hat to Omri Casspi. His contract is such a bargain!

I agree with Casspi for his amazing shooting touch. Beverly has to be a close 2nd for his overall play, not just his defense.

Chandler Parsons, I thought his game would substantially improve from last season. Now it has substantially regressed.

    Easily Casspi.

The expectations for him were spot minutes here and there.

Guy will average double digits off the bench this year.

Casspi is the most pleasant surprise. Parsons is surprisingly just bad right now.

Casspi for sure. I was concerned that Chandler's outside shooting may regress, because one good season on offense isn't enough. I hope he will straighten it out soon.

Yeah it's Casspi pretty easy. I thought all along he would be a great addition, but he's looking like the steal of the offseason. I didn't realize how willing he was to bang on the inside. He really gives us that punch off the bench.

This is also one of the reason I like Lin off the bench. Lin,Casspi,Garcia, Asik are all solid NBA starters IMO. Our bench is gonna kill people this year

At least we are all in agreement here: Casspi!!! Although, I was expecting big jump from TJones or GSmith.

Dwight - didn't think he would be this good.

    Casspi - pleasant surprise.

    Jeremy Lin.

So much more in control and showing a lot of signs of greatness to come with his 3pts and breaking down defences. Completely did not expect this from last year's out of control driving and turning the ball over Lin.

    Casspi.

He's not your ordinary role player that is certain.

    Casspi.

I already knew from last season that Garcia was going to be an excellent 4-point threat and a good defender.

My biggest surprise is Parsons being so freaking bad (compared to last year). And I'm surprised McHale is still giving him big minutes when Casspi and Garcia are out playing him. If I was a Lin only fan I would be mad as hell... But then again I would be so fixated on James Harden that I would be to dumb to realize that Parsons is the guy who gets McHale's favoritism.
