Parsons always has a flat shot. He is not a rainbow 3 point shooter. Look at his 3 pointer against the Lakers last year. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VtqB2M-Nr-4
You are so right. Last year at the start of the season, everyone was saying his great rookie year was just a fluke. Then after around ten games, he got it going again.
Parsons mentioned during some summer interviews that he was working on increasing 3pt shot arc. I am guessing at regular season game time, he reversed half way back to old muscle habit. He will figure it out.
Yikes! He's shooting 16.7% from behind the arc... http://stats.nba.com/teamPlayers.html?TeamID=1610612745
first 10gms last season only shot about 31% from threes. how do i make fancy colorful tables? screenshots?
CP's trying to create his own shot when he doesn't need to. He's also below average on that department.
He'll make those shots when it really matters. He was shooting at 50% from the 3-pt line in the Utah game ;p
He's shooting form is weird . He's a right hand shooter but he always leads with his left foot. That's some weird mechanics
If every third game, he can 24/12/6, I'll take it. Not many guys playing with two top ten players can put those numbers up, ever. Last year, the nba pegged him as a really good shooter, but he's not. His rookie year he shot 55% from ft and 33% from 3fg. He's a Pippen type guy and a glue guy. I love him being on this team.
If you are running with Parsons on the fast break, don't expect a pass, dude wants to go 3 on 1 everytime. I cant believe how may times he has had a trailer and instead he went up for a low % layup which he missed.
So far he's 3/18 on three pointers, which is unacceptable. His minutes should go down if his shooting percentage doesn't go up.
Well according to your above post, he was 5/20 on three pointers same time last season. So I'd say give it some time
what do you mean "this season" it has always been like that who could ever forget this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4L37je8JKLo
So maybe he's the new Horry? Start slow and shoot weird? He has to shoot 3s better no doubt. TT's offense depends on him spreading the floor.
Well it's okay for now that his shot is bad, probably still trying to get the rust off. But I don't like the fact that he is handling the ball so much, he should do what he is good at, cutting, running the fast break, grabbing alley oops and shooting
