Maybe he won't really be appreciated not only in the Rockets organization but on this board until he goes down for 6 weeks with an injury. I truly hope that doesn't happen but it's ridiculous. The guy plays well for most quarters this season, he's one of the core ingredients to the team's success. He's right behind Harden and Howard in making the team click. He scored 12, but he did a lot more than even his stats indicate in this game.

yeah if he gets his defense to the expectations you are putting on him he would be in KD and Lebron's league. give him time and it will come but your evaluation was like "Well he had 33 points on 18 shots, but not good enough"

it's not weird. it's King McSolomon with the baby and 2 mothers. in the first half, Lin had 17minutes headed for a 34 minute game. third quarter comes along and lin is still playing the more stellar D. But after a foul he committed on Mo williams of all people, lin was holding his shorts in exhaustion. Lin turns it over on offense and checks out soon after.

If he puts lin in with 5 minutes to go, even for garcia that would put him over 33 minutes, which is favoring one more than the other, not very king mcsolomonish. with 29 minutes each, you have 2 starting pgs.

I would take 2 minutes and 1 second from harden and split them open for both lin and harden. 30 minutes each.

oh yeah, did we win tonight or something. :p

Right now the problem is Chandler.. IF he had been a good role player(eg.Matt Barnes) who wants to help contribute rather then looking ahead for a huge contract, he'd be more comfortable playing and probably do a lot better too. Right now he's just overplaying and overdoing things trying desperately to live up to what Kobe said about him 2 years ago.

If only LOF and LOH's would go down for 6 weeks with an injury. Maybe then the GARM wouldn't be such a polluted place.

    Sigh...

I'm puzzled about this new development too. Looks like he losts confident in his 3. Also, seeing too much hesitation even before the pump fake and drive. And, this move has become almost predictable, I'm surprised opponents fall for it.

Bev guarded Lillard for most of the 4th QTR. Just saying.

4-1, sitting at first place in the Western conference while not even having played particularly well. This must be what NBA royalty feels like.

Well said. Arguably, he is the most consistent player in the first 5 games of this season. When he plays well, Rockets usually wins. In a way, he is the motor of Rockets offense (I believe former Denver Coach Karl said that last season). JVG once said he was greatly under-appreciated by many.
