First of all, you should really think of it as 26 (18+8) attempts as all of those TOs are one less opportunity for someone else on the team to shoot.

Secondly, aren't you tired of opposing SGs scoring a lot on us? Think of it from a points differential perspective. If an opposing SG scores easy buckets due to Harden's poor defense, Harden has to be way more efficient to actually impact the game as a superstar. Granted, 33 points on 26 attempts is not necessarily bad but it is also thanks to the superstar calls he gets. Is he going to get the same calls facing Wade or Lebron?

As for the blocks, it is good effort by him but it is not sustainable. I would rather he doesn't give the opportunity to shoot in the first place.

If true, that's not a good mentality! He really needs to get over himself.

Pls. stop name calling. It is getting annoying. Let others express their opinion. You don't have to agree with them. Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood:)

parsons is handling the ball WAY too much. he needs to stick to spot shooting and cutting. for example, his pump fake is useless this year. last season he'd pump then take a dribble and sink a long 2. this season he's giving up open 3s to pump and drive into traffic. wth?

I don't recall we ever won a game last year when we hit less than 30% of our 3. On top of that...

17 assists, 20 TO. And we won by 15 and was really never threaten in the 2nd half.

    This is why we won:

    +17 rebound.
    55% shooting (non 3pt)
    Solid D (they shot 41%)
Howard has 29 pts on 13 shots.

In this game, I thought Howard should have been fed more especially when Lopez was not in the game. It was great that Harden did his thing, but Howard was the much more efficient player today.

i have no problem with your logic. if this is what mchale likes to do, i would like to see mchale kept lin in the 4th qt when he backups bev. let's see what happen when bev starts. whether mchale kept his wierd sub pattern.

Give Bev some break. He's probably playing injured still.

It was a right decision by McHale not to disrupt the flow with substitution when the team was finishing strong in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter.

Well said. I'm really really disappointed at the prevalent immature name calling, seriously dragging down the quality of this forum. I think it's about time to start clamping down on it.

Really, for a game like this, y'all are more preoccupied with why coach didn't sub Lin in down the stretch earlier. Unbelievable.

He's a good finisher playing off the ball, but a terrible one driving with the ball. Gets stripped too easily or runs into the defense where he isn't acrobatic enough to do anything.

Just to let you know that sentence is grammatically wrong. The "ga" is not needed there.

Also is anyone analyzing anything anymore?

Sorry to say, even though Lin played great, he is going to have to put points on the board in order to become an elite pg.
