Lin shut down Lillard. H&H actually showed up tonight. We won. Nuff said

I'm confident he can adjust, he did fine in Utah.

It's like he picked up Lin's bad habit of driving into traffic. He needs to go back to what we need him to do, shoot the 3s.

I don't feel particularly happy about those calls. I would rather have the refs officiate fairly and we win due to our strength.

Sometimes, even WWE looks more legit than NBA.

BTW, Sam Cassell closed out many games in 1994 and 1995.

Greg Popovich benched Tony Parker in the 4th quarter in favor of Speedy Claxton- in the close-out game of a championship (I think it was the 2003 one).

Are people really crying about Lin not playing in the 4th? Our current line up at the time was doing awesome, so why would you ruin that flow by subbing in Lin? A win is a win, and by the way, Lin did friggen awesome this game, contained Lillard very well.

dude I feel it more like telling Lin that "i know you are a big part of it you've done very well, i'm letting you in to take the credit with the starting unit."
anyway he cant ignore lin's effort and treat him like last season any more lin has been BIG these games. Lillard literally been locked down by him with 6 points on lin, on the other hand i really dont see Bev a Elite defender, Lillard burn him with 16 points.

yeah, but lin did a lot more than those 12 points. he was a big factor in the game. bev had important contributions to the game. the offense with lin in it can be beautiful at times.

No matter how you slice it 8 TOs is still 8 TOs, we all know that both Lin and Harden suck at this...so let's all put this to rest. The real stat tonight is that Houston came up with a win...it doesn't matter if Harden or Lin had 20 TOs.

He did fine in Utah because he didn't want to be shown up by Hayward, thus motivation.

i would like to be entertained with your explanation why pop benched parker in that game.

by the way, how many nba games have been played since the 1st day of nba? how many times you see that happened? now we are very luck to see it happened in this rox so often. i would say we may hold the record of starting pg not finish games after this season

I agree. I believe that Coach McHale wanted to substitute PB at 4-5 minutes mark with Lin. But PB was on the roll during that stretch So I guess Coach McHale did not want to disturb the flow of the game. The season is still young. Coach McHale will figure out the rotation and take advantage of both strengths of Lin and PB (I love both). I'd definitely start Lin as he and JH can take turns to attack and penetrate. The offense will be so unpredictable. I actually like better PB coming from bench as he is an energy pace-changing type guy. BTW, Lin's defense is so under-valued by many. This game shows he can be a very good on-ball defender as well, especially he gets help from our bigs on pnr.

Also I am so glad that JH bounced back, especially happy about his effort on defense. Unlike Clipper game, he only lost Mathew a couple times. This game shows that we can have a great team defense if everybody plays defense (don't have to be good). Hope JH keeps his good effort.

A great win by Rockets. I enjoyed the offense but liked the defense better (especially Q3). Hopefully they keep it up!
