The TO's are not okay, they should have better control of the ball. I just find the arguments over TO's and their emphasis on good or bad play very fickle. People are calling out Harden on his 33 points and 8 TO's but these are the same people who say that Lin's 14 and 6 TOs are acceptable because we win when Lin has high TO's.

The opposite comes into play when people solely criticize Lin for his TO's but ignore Harden's loose play with the ball. But, we won so really besides hoping that it improves, a win is a win which is a win. 4-1 baby, woo!

 

All these LOFs need to leave. Be thankful for the win.

 

It was nice to see that Twin Tower lock down defense in the first 5 minutes of the 3rd qtr. First time I've seen that since the pre-season San Antonio game.

That really set the stage for the 2nd half and ultimately the win.

STILL turning the ball over way too much but it was nice to see us have a good night from the foul line.

 

Well the conversation was nice until the last 5 minutes or so of the 4th...

....then you could slowly see it roll down the hill

Outside of the Jazz game (mostly first half, too), he has done nothing better than Garcia. If McHale was really serious about putting the best 5 on the floor, then Parsons would be on the bench.

 

nothing to complain. steady win although slow start. D setup O and pull away mid game. Lillard only took 6 points on Lin， 0 points on 2nd half till Lin get subbed then he started to full steam ahead to pad some stat. yeah I can feel he is humiliated.

Parsons is struggling because the middle is clogged and he has no room to drive.

Reading Blazersedge, tons of hate towards the refs and Harden(because of fouls). It's weird. I feel like as a Rockets fan I should be the one complaining about Stern keeping us down by giving superstar calls to opposing teams.

Now that the Rockets are considered one of the top teams with favorable ref treatment, I don't know what to think anymore. It's like a part of my fandom disappeared.

I honestly think that's the case. It's completely taken away space for his slashing ability. Although... That stupid up fake every damn time instead of shooting is starting to drive me nuts.

 

I think you need to look into why those TOs are happening. The circumstances and the reasons are where the complaints are originating from.

Would talk more but a lot of ****heads from both sides are making this about Lin again.

 

This was a game we would have lost last game. 4th game in 5 nights, in a tough and way arena against a pretty good team that had rest and was making shots, coming off a crazy shootout and pretty bad loss.
We played much controlled compared to the last game, and slow the pace down. As the season progresses, the identity will come, that is steady dose of Howard and Harden, tough D, and selective runs. We will only get better.

 

you should stop making up thing. did i ever say mchale hates lin?

you should calm down. just think about this is a player who started a game and played great on both ends of the game for 3 qts (clearly better than his replacement) but he was sitting on the bench for almost 10 mins in 4th qt. is it weird?

 

your evaluation was incredibly bad if you were wondering. First 33 points on 18 shots is really really efficient, be thankful you're not a Laker fan or you would have had to bear Kobe's 33 on 35 shots, second those 8 TOs came from him playing 40 minutes and having the ball every possession, and third his defense was much improved from yesterday, did you miss those 2 blocks?
