Ok I was wrong about $200 but stfu, I was not wrong about tesla having a blowout quarter. They had a spectacular quarter by all means, just stfu yonkers loser, you're just a scrub who comes out and talks smack after the fact.

I was right about himx at $5.70
I was right about IAG at $4.50

I wish the ignore feature would block out quotes too. My first thought when I saw that post you quoted....

Haha. I was wondering why you were so quiet. I was like, damn, robbie be taking the high road. So I figured I'd rile him up a bit. Funny how easy it is to do. Weak minded fool that he is.

Soo... someone mentioned BEAT a while back and it's been taking hits on a daily basis until today after yesterday's solid earnings report.

    Up 21% on the day.

    BAHAHAHA

To keep this thread on track, robbie, what do you think of FTI? It's taken some hits but it's still an industry leader, etc. What do the numbers show from your perspective? I've been long on it for years now so I've made plenty from the run-ups from 2008 but it's been taking some lumps recently.

I don't really have an amazing insight on it since I don't know the company. Just looking at the chart if I was a longer term holder it might be a decent time to add in if that's what you are looking to do. That said the stock and the industry have underperformed big time over the past couple years. That is never a good sign. Wish I had some better insight for you.

When you say the industry underperforming, do you mean specifically oil field services or all o&g companies?

Just meant all of the oil service stocks. I just glanced at the OIH to look at that.

Tesla getting shorted 15% today, down to $150 ... is this a good buy opportunity or the market correcting itself ?

It's not called getting shorted when a stock goes down. ;) It is just getting sold. Shorting is a completely different transaction.

I would wait on TSLA. Maybe look at it again in a month.

Robbie what do you think of SCTY? ER is due today, and I feel like a big correction could be coming.

its run up from high 3s to high 7s YTD was spurred by the first series of articles covering their patented energy recovery systems for SWRO (salt water reverse osmosis) energy recovery devices..

they make pressure exchanger pumps that make the desalination process up to 60% more efficient.. they can also produce electricity using the osmotic pressure. desalination is very energy intensive and this is a significant market opportunity that they've cornered.

then theres their OnG segment. They make similar flow devices that increase the efficiency of natural gas processing plants. naturally, this market segment is larger than water desalination. they're also going to corner this market.

essentially, ERII is a company that specializes in increasing plant efficiency through improved fluid dynamics with their proprietary technology
