ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Blazers 11/5/2013

Impressive bounce back win. A 4-1 start is the best I was expecting, so I'll take it. Now take care of business against the Lakers and get ready for some Clippers payback.

 

Now if we can only start off the first quarter in the lead for once... It's like the total opposite of when we had Adelman and Co. We would get the lead only to slowly lose it in the final minutes of the 4th quarter. Of course, the current trend is better.

 

I think Aaron Brooks should start, and we should send Lin to the D-League to work on his defence.

Gonna be an easy win. Lakers roster is so ugly, it's not even funny.

When the backup is close in ability to the starter? Of course it's not a given. If clutchfans had existed in 94-95, would there be any complaining about how Sam Cassell finished games in the finals?

 

his 1 steal and 2 blocks make it up a bit but he needs to get his to's down to 4 or less a game

 

I was hoping this year we could cut down harden minutes. It's early but I don't want harden to be burnt out by the time playoffs comes. Mchale needs to monitor his minutes better.

 

Harden and Parson's three needs to start falling... Other than that, great effort all around. That's all you can ask of your players.

 

I don't even see D-Mo on the reserve list. Is he injured? Brooks/Jones/Smith all made it in garbage time.

 

i am talking about this game, not the game when bev starts.

Great overall team defense won us the game. Really nice effort from Bev and Harden ( especially his big blocks in the 4th).

 

Harden needs to take more midrange J's this year. Stop taking 3's.

 

Still too many TO and general sloppiness but hopefully that's just the fatigue from this 4games in 5 nights road trip.

awesome game by the rox. too many TO as usual, but a win is a win is a win.

Bev finished games last year when Lin started. Get over it. Mchale likes Bevs defense better. He will finish games from here on out when he is healthy.

 

looks like McHale is gonna play Harden 40 minutes a game this season.
