People say he is a spread 4. He isn't. He is a point forward like TMac. Here he is, pointing forward like a true point forward.
Ryan Anderson is not a point forward, though. Omri Casspi can handle the ball, push it up, and either score or pass off drives.
I think he is. He struggles against the "power" power forward that could out-muscle him. Other than that I feel like he is a capable rebounder, good stretch 4, good ball-handler and decent court vision.
He is more of a stretch rebounding forward He can get assist but I think Parsons is the better playmaker and he does not have very good court vision just yet
Agreed definitely no need for Ryan Anderson Definitely not for Asik unless they want to throw a first rounder or two
I was never in favorite of Casspi replacing Asik, but I am all in favorite of Casspi for Parsons. So far this season, Parsons is the weakest link in the starting lineup. If he has open 3's and pump fakes it with defender 10 feet away, he is useless. He wastes all the ball movement to get him open.
What's odd is that Sacramento/Cleveland fans all thought Casspi's issue was that he thinks he's better than he truly is. That he tries to show his handles too much rather than just shoot. Either Casspi's improved, or he just need superstars to take away the defense.
