I would respond the same way any time a man hits a woman. I never think it's okay unless it's law enforcement or saving lives. It was made worse by the size of the people involved. I don't care what you call her. I'm fine with it. It doesn't matter to me, she acted like a fool. Whether 99% of the men would have acted the same way. It's wrong no matter how many would do it.
I know how the world works. We thrive on eachother's happiness, and inspire eachother through good deeds. But there must be lessons too. Tough love is what some of us need. You've never worked with snotty kids have you? I personally have, and trust me you need some serious benzodiazepines to do what you said in the heat of the moment. Tough love first, show them that they are wrong. Then explain, and tell them why they are wrong. With many kids, a loud assertive voice is enough. Sometimes you have to go a little further. Drunk chicks brainwashed by TV where guys are treated like **** by unworthy women....require the latter. I have not accused any of you of anything. Yet you call me, and other men cowards. cow·ard (kourd) n. One who shows ignoble fear in the face of danger or pain. [Middle English, from Old French couard, from coue, tail, from Latin cauda.] A coward isn't someone who hits back to end a situation. A coward backs off, retreats. With their TAILS between there legs. A coward doesn't stand his ground. That's a coward, gents.
Great! We've all said all along she was wrong by instigating the violence! What I have a problem with is giving kudos to this guy for hitting back! They we're BOTH wrong, the only difference is that a light jab from him almost knocked her head off and caused her to almost be decapitated by the glass falling on her! In a perfect world everyone would show constraint and self control, but it's obvious that both people involved in the video don't have any! I really didn't see him as defending himself or reacting spontaneously to the situation, I see him as retaliating against a foe much smaller and obviously less able to TRULY defend herself. ....... ....... .......
We're just going to have to disagree. You think it's okay for men to hit women and I don't. In this case a coward was a person who was in no danger of any serious injury and attacked a weaker female with physical violence. That qualifies as being a coward. He was in the face of pain, and showed ignoble fear in lashing out against someone who couldn't defend themselves against him.
When i was in junior high, i punched a girl right in the mouth and knocked out a couple of her teeth. I felt pretty bad about it afterwards
BamBam, your points are valid. I never said it was good for him to hit her. I say that it's good to see a guy stand his ground against an ill-behaving female for once. If it was a smaller man, and he window didn't even dent, it wouldn't make a difference to me. It's a matter of principle. FrancisBlade, I'm sure our opinions differ very much. For the record, in that situation I would have bluntly told her: "Look, if you do that one more time, it's going to end badly for you." With all seriousness. If she has any intelligence, she'd stop. If not, I'd have pushed her away and give her a final warning. At that point if she's STILL hitting me...Well, she's had her warning. What I won't do is back off, escape the situation, or god forbid call the police. A man has the right to stand his ground, and protect his balls. A woman (or any person), on the otherhand, has no right to do what she did.
Do we have any other facts on this story, did he get in trouble, charged with anything? Did she? IDK what the laws are like on this there. Here, he'd be lucky if he didn't go to jail too, even though she struck first.
FB looks like you've taken notes from the giddyup book of abortion debating and applied it to this thread. What's next "the fetus"? "The zygote he attacked has a heartbeat!"
UK b****es...lol <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/AktmMDZQRnw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Relax, dude, I'm on your side lol. I'm glad he put that girl in her place. Play with fire, get burned. I always feel that FranchiseBlade lives in a dream world. He's always idealistic to a fault and while noble, not practical for real world.
Maybe I'm idealistic. But I think you behave the way you want things to be. It's not up to me to worry if anyone does it or not, or if it's practical. I don't have many hard rules. I think the woman should have been put in her place. I don't think violence against her by a guy twice her size was the way to do it.
Trust me, I'd never try and use a giddy tactic in a debate consciously. I think the fact of both people's size makes it worse, but regardless of the size, I don't think a guy should ever hit a female unless it's the only way to save a life or some type of law enforcement scenario. I mentioned her being teenybopper because that's also a possible factor in why she was so awful, wrong, and initiating violence.
Lol she got what she deserved. .would have done the same thing..then would proceed to knock out any white knights..
The second comment on Youtube is a key point to this thread. While this might be a objective, the main idea is that the bias sense of chivalry and inequality that has been pushed into society thus far has distorted reality of a lot of people. Men believe that they can't hit women, women believe that they can't be hit. In the end, men are going to be accused of making the "mistake" that's not really a mistake. Men are going to hit women and be harassed for it. As I look through the thread, looks like the same thing is happening. No one is going to actually realize that we're in the 21st century, not the 20th. Times change, so do views.
