2 out of 3, finally a little winning streak. Hate it that Houston was on losing end, but they really didn't stand a chance against Clippers.
Scored big off the Clipper win + over (way over!). But if ****ing Philly had won I would have made a fortune today.
Looking at today's games... UTA @BKN (UTA +11.5) seems nice. If BKN are winning big before 4th quarter, Kidd will rest the starters and Utah will get under 10. CHA @NYK NYK are so unpredictable, even CHA +10.5 is unsure IND @DET (DET +2.5) This seems like a possibility. PHX @NOP (NOP -8.5) No Dragic for PHX, but this team is too unpredictable. LAL @DAL (DAL -7.5) This could work, but bad defense from DAL could cause this bet to lose. LAL has too many 3-point shooters. Maybe LAL +9.5? SAS @DEN SAS Is clear favourite and won't be able to pound the ball inside with SAS good interior defense (Splitter+Duncan)...btw, any news on Duncan? Isn't he banged up or something? ATL @SAC (SAC -1.5) This should work... What do you have? I'll probably go with UTA, SAS and SAC bet.
Quote of 2.23 on Pinnacle...is it really worth it? Detroit may surprise Indiana at home or there could even be an overtime.
Yeah i feel you but i'm trying the teaser approach. I feel like if indy struggles the game stays close and I can still win with them going down by less than 3 points.
Maybe if you're using a bit of a pointspread... I have this teaser for today. Btw, how come it's called Teaser? I've heard Parlay and Accumulator, but never teaser... Indiana Pacers vs Detroit Pistons for Game ( 1.855) Houston Rockets vs Portland Trail Blazers for Game ( 1.833) Atlanta Hawks vs Sacramento Kings for Game ( 1.709) Odds = 5.81
OK I found the answer on that one by myself...talking to myself here lol There is one major difference between teasers and parlays, however, and that is the bettor is allowed to move the point spread in any direction they like on a particular game. I don't know however how that looks in practice...
Today as I look at the lines I got 3 plays I have to play as of right now. I like to look at the line movements to determine my play throughout the day. 1st play is Toronto (+5) versus the Heat. Heat will probably win but not cover. I see a 2 point win by the Heat. 2nd play is Detroit(+1.5) versus the Pacers. Line is telling me Detroit wins this outright so Ill be playing them on the moneyline as well. 3rd play is New Orleans (-9) versus Phoenix. I'll be playing New Orleans 1st half and whole game. New Orleans will route Phoenix is what the line is telling me. and I'm throwing this in..which I hate. I never like to bet with my heart, but I gotta take Houston +1.5 today. Line is short because of a back to back but if Houston is truly a contender they'll take care of business tonight. Good luck. Thoughts?
Heat is trying to regroup and redeem themselves. They are always dangerous at these times (same happened two years ago IIRC). At Pinnacle PAC - DET line is something like 1.8 against 2.05. Would you really make it only +1.5? Also do not make emotional bets. Leave Houston alone
No i have to pick which direction i want to apply the points. So if i want to add the 7 points to NOLA then i get it down to -2...or i can apply the 7 points to phoenix and make phoenix + 16 my pick. Make sense?
Actually I wanted to say something simple and I complicated it. Sorry, English is not where I want it to be yet... Odds for Pacers to win outright are 2.05, while for Detroit is 1.8.
I don't bet by odds like that. I go by lines... the line movements..and percentages on one bet and the way the line moves. Detroit is winning outright tonight.
