lakers fans have been complaining about dwight's demeanor, lack of offensive moves, and turribad fts since the first game... oops, i mean rocket fans...
It's not about his character, it's about his offensive ability. Or lack thereof. I'm just not sure he's the answer. May need to package Asik for another star who can score consistently.
Dwight's offensive ability is questionable and maybe he's not the answer so trade Asik? Not sure I follow. . . .

What I'm saying is that we may not actually be contenders right now like most of us thought we would be. We may need to acquire another star to be true contenders due to Howard's lack of scoring ability.
I actually liked Dwight's demeanor out there tonight. He understood that the refs had it in for him and his teammates tonight, and he didn't do anything to further had fuel to their fire. They wanted to put him through the ringer in his first game back in LA, and he clearly saw it after they called the 3 quick fouls on him. Instead of raging and letting it affect the rest of his team, he tried pulling them back. Tomorrow is another day, and another game. Move past this one.

We are paying this guy 20 million per year. 20 million per year! Not to go out and get 13 and 9 (which Asik can do), but to DOMINATE at both ends! He hasn't done anything even close to dominating with the exception of the first game in the rebound department. This guy better pick up his game because we have very high expectations! 13 and 9 ain't gonna cut it!
you didn't watch NBA at all LOL! Kobe was already injured that time LOL! Dude, the NBA is 82 games long. Kobe carried that team all season while Dwight half stepped through it. Don't try to tell me that Dwight was the reason they finished ahead of us in the playoff standings. Give me a break.
Dwight isn't a mean guy. He is a smiles laughing guy. Much like Lin & Parsons. Dwight ain't ever going to be a mean guy. You do realize Dwight comes from a deeply religious family right?
Yes it is Dwight, Lakers whats below 500 for most of the season and below us in ranking all season... yet in the one game that mattered most, kobe was missing with an injury...lakers needed that win to just make the playoffs... and it is the Lakers defense that game lead by Howard stopped our offense and held us to 94 pts... like you would know that, you didn't even watch nba prior to this season...
Thats a good perspective to put it in, if it is true then we should be happy about Dwights "demeanor" in last nights game. I think Dwight is just trying to do his job, and not complain like he did, the past 3 games you see that he just is focusing on getting the job done. Thats a good sign considering we have 4 games under the belt.
Another knee-jerk reaction...who's the other, Gregg Popovich? At least Tim Thibodeau and Spoelstra are better than him. As far as motivational goes, Doc is one of the best. But give him only a solid team like Wizards or Detroit and he will get exposed.
This is the first time i am impressed with Howard's game tonight as a Houston Rockets. He played a complete game. I mean check out the FREE THROWS made...that was amazing. It totally make a huge impact in the game. But basically everybody play well overall. The defense step it up w/ Beverley as the PG, they totally owned Blazers w/ that solid lineups at the end there. Man, we really need Beverley's defense and so glad he's back.
