Spiegel, someone said that Jlin could get a high assists too if players were knocking down their shots....not an outrageous comment. I don't know why you're mad. The comment was based from what happened tonight....Paul passed to jj and that dude knocked down shots after shots in the first half.

We weren't exactly in a hole against the Cats.

What do you mean? I'm curious to know what they didn't show on TV.

Beverly is a good all around defense.

People think defense is a solo thing when it is much more a team thing. I'm not going to get into it tonight about it

Redick went off tonight but that is not ALL on Harden. Dudley also went off...Crawford as well...pretty much their whole team. That was not ALL on Harden.

It wasn't because Harden wasn't trying, he was running all over the court at times but running into screens. That's not a lack of effort.

I don't know how much Pbev would have helped tonight...I do know he has a knack of frustrating even the best of PGs and he gets around screens (and he does a good job of drawing fouls doing that) I think he would have helped a lot more than Brooks scoring punch off the bench because he's a sneaky good scorer too.

I agree. The way JH plays defense, he should defend most 3 instead of 2. He does not have the awareness of defending cuts and screens.

He's too worried about making mistakes.

Dude's giving the German newspaper a bad name.

Well, we started off poorly. We were behind early, which is pretty bad, considering it's the Cats.

I'm willing to give the lineup a few more games, but the results haven't pleasing so far.

He meant what he typed. Lin refused to take over on the shooting. Why pass to Harden when he's not even mentally in the game? 0-7 shooting from the 3 as the best shooting guard in the NBA?

Sorry I was just extremely upset about his effort tonight. Reminded me of TMAC right before he got traded.

He's been on a mission for 8 years....the Clippers has the same flaws as the Rockets (at least tonight) - they play with no Ds. Any team that can limit Jamal's or JJ's games and is a solid offensive team can take this team - one team comes to mind....Spurs.

My biggest concern out of the first 4 games:

    1. We are not running much PnR in offense. I thought we brought Howard because he would be the best roll man with Harden/Lin not because of his post moves?

    2. Aside from Howard, we do NOT have a PF who can play good defense. Our roster needs to change. Since we are in a WIN now mode, I hope Morey will apply his magic.

Except the Rockets shot 50% from the field which is pretty good. ;)

Lin was trying to facilitate a cold offense. It was FREEZiNG cold. The boos whenever Dwight touched the ball were deafening. I was surprised because it was a clippers crowd.

I meant the latter part where everybody checked out before the game even begin.

Not everything is, or must be about Lin.

Wouldn't it be cool to see the Clippers get the #1 seed and run into the Grizzlies at 7 or 8 again?

They have tenacious defenders on the perimeter and they are never looking to push the pace.

I think the Rockets can win this matchup...but they have to slow the pace down, walk it up and down the court, set up some offense. Problem with playing fast paced against this team is the same problem we had when playing against Denver...you just feed their offense.

Slow the game down and you make them more vulnerable.

One thing to keep in mind. Reddick set the tone, he absolutely TOASTED Harden tonight. The ignition came from Reddick and the Clippers followed the pace he set.

Rockets just weren't up to playing tonight. Off night. I expected Clips to hit 80 before half time at the pace they were going.

Rockets didn't do bad, but when the other team is on fire ~ and your doing great. It makes you look bad.

Rockets pace was way to slow.
