Would you rather give Dwight Yao's post moves or Yao's free throw accuracy?

Howard with yao's shooting touch and post move would not be fair to the league. You wouldn't even be able to front him! gitr done, dr Murray.

crazy that no one taught dwight how to shoot the rock.

maybe they tried but dwight did not want to learn.. who knows.

Dwight's Post move is worse than me to be honest.
He just couldn't shoot the ball with good form after doing any moves.
He should slow his move down.

WHY THERE IS NO BODY TELL HIM SLOW IT DOWN!

No I am just wondering why Dwight simply doesn't use a small bank hook with his right hand for his go to move instead of his face up drive. The hook shot off the glass also does not bring him into traffic

I don't recall Yao taking 15ft jumpers all day.

Yao dunked, baby hooked the ball, finger rolled, layed up, tipped in.

Then he took face up jumpers, and fade aways.

You know, my instincts said free throws, but statistically speaking switching Dwight's FT% to Yao's over the course of his career only moves him from 18.2 PPG to 20.6 PPG. I'd argue that a rudimentary turnaround J and a smoother jump hook would probably have a bigger impact than that in regards to TOs and scoring.

Post moves... You're not just getting more flexibility with the offense, you are also getting less turnovers.

Free throws. It will benefit his game a lot since he will be looking to get fouled instead of avoiding them

Dwight w/ Yao's post moves = prime Shaq.

Dwight with better free throw % = the same player but averaging 22 ppg instead of 18

This. Why not both? DH is what he is and what he was as an NBA player so the Rockets will have to live with and make the most out of what he does best- defend and rebound.

The man has a future as an NBA coach if he draws up gamewinners.
