Exactly, we've seen him single handedly win games in the 4th too many times not to give him a shot. Maybe it'll pay off in the long run with his defensive effort, but really would have given us a better shot tonight.

 

Exactly! It can work against the bottom-of-the-barrel and middle-of-the-pack teams, but not against the upper crust teams. But, I don't think McHale is going to change the offense.

 

Harden got benched the entire 4th

 

refs took harden and howard out of game in 1st.Not sure how you can make any judgment on this game. I throw this game out based on the ridiculous calls against our stars. This was no semblance of a game when we cant even get our guys in.

It was 10- to -15 for pretty much all of game and were trading baskets essentially. This game was lost on fouls and the result of that free throw run by refs to create that 12 point lead.

Harden was taken out at like 8 min mark of 4th which to me means mchale had already given up by then. The minutes tonight were all screwy. Greg smith even played. That tells you something too with minutes. this was a ref joke. I am disappointed in the nba tonight and my sport.

 

Just one of the few slow people on this board are.

I'm giving my benefit of the doubt that most people who want Bev in is so that he can share those fouls with lin and/or knock CP out.

I bet Morey is desperate to trade Asik but not team is biting yet and hence he's forcing Mchale to start him.

 

Lin played well until he got into foul trouble Redick did all the scoring u want Bev to guard him and bench Harden?

 

This game the Clippers are shooting lights out and they have good ball movement with great picks for CP3 so he tore down the defense with penetration. They played a good game and deserve to win. The Rockets have no one willing to help pick for Lin (except Smith when he subbed in), so there is no penetration much especially when Harden is having a bad game. Howard was not coming out to pick much for pnr, so he was posting up but not effective the whole night. Casspi was trying to attack like Parson. Bad move. He should be spotting up 3 like Garcia who is the only bright light of the game for Houston. I like his 'wicked' stare on CP3, LOL. We will take this loss and learn something hopefully and move on.

 

Why Howard didn't want to screen and just wait in the post

 

Dear Lord we need Beverley back. Lin/Brooks ain't gonna cut it. I have hated the clippers for some time now and this will only fuel my hatred more. The lack of people fighting through screens, closing out hard, or at least getting a freaking hand up was ridiculous. We basically just watched a 4 quarter Clippers shooting practice. Also, the blown dunks are getting old. Just put the ball in the basket.

 

I really don't blame our team for this....its those ****ing refs!! How are you suppose to play defence when you call 3 fouls on your centre in 6 mins and 4 fouls on your PG. What sort of message does that send to the team!? It means don't even try to hustle on defence or else you will get whislted!!! Its ****ing annoying! And you can just see those stupid clippers flip flopping to take advantage of this! Those refs are either noobs or purposely doing it

Lin was doing a decent job at both ends except the 4th quarter. The offense did flow through him at times and he was able to making plays for the bigs. Can he be more aggresive. Yeah, I wish.

 

We needed Harden to step up tonight and he was completely awful. We'll always lose if the opposing star steps up and ours plays like chit on both ends of the floor. Dwight was a complete non factor, barely noticed he was even playing.

Someone throw Lin a rag to wipe CP3's load off his face. 23/17 is a ****ing joke. It all starts with CP3 and we needed Beverley tonight applying pressure. They almost have 140 points. Disgusting.

 

In case you haven't noticed we only have 2 PG's this game and Lin has 5 fouls
