I might understand if he only reacted once, but twice? The Jolly Green Giant must have a pea size brain to get suckered twice! I bet if the girl throws 10 more punches he gets suckered into throwing punches 10 more times! In reality not everyone has the ability to exercise self control, some people have it at a very early age and some people will never have it, sad but true! All they had to do was close the door, to create a barrier from the people outside and nobody even gets touched, but of course they chose to do totally the opposite! Keep the doors open and start arguing with the people outside! Smart,real smart! As I stated in my previous post, I think were are just going to agree to disagree! Guy was no gentleman, and anyone in this thread who defends a huge guy punching a woman half his size is no gentleman either. It's not about not hitting a female when they are behaving perfectly and having perfect manners, it's about composure when things get bad. The woman was a fool. She shouldn't have violently leashed out once or twice. That doesn't excuse what the guy did. He could have just stepped back into the open. Once there if she continued to attack him, he could have simply restrained her if he felt he had to take some kind of action against her. Anyone excusing his actions seems to me to lack any kind of moral conviction and that sickens me as much if not more than what the guy did.

He doesn't know the rules. He'll be lucky if he doesn't end up in jail. I always err on the side of caution- only strike a woman if absolutely required to defend your life. I've been on the receiving end of when females attack, physically. Instead of self defense, I retreated. Will stick to this policy until men & women have equal rights & responsibilities.

I don't condone the guy hitting her, but for her to think she would not be hit and throw a punch because it was a guy is stupid. If the girl had more brains, she shouldn't have kicked the guy. If the guy had more brains, he could have just distanced himself after the first attack to prevent escalation. Those who know better know when to stop, regardless of whoever fired the first shot. Unfortunately none of the two didn't know when to stop.
As a male, you know that if you physically attack another male you can expect that you will likely be attacked yourself as a result. If you think this very simple logic doesn't apply to a person because they are female, you're stupid! I'm not condoning it. I'm not saying it's right. It's just the difference between an Internet debate and what happens in real life when people are reacting to a situation. One thing that is being forgotten these days is that people need to look after themselves. They need to take personal responsibility for their own safety. Some decisions you make in life comes with risks. As you're a small person and you decide to start kicking someone twice your size.....male or female....you are taking a huge risk with your personal safety! Are the consequences completely on the person that is reacting to you in that situation? Are you absolved of all responsibility despite the fact you instigated it confrontation? Of course not! Men and women need to take more responsibility for their personal safety. We don't live in a world where everyone else is looking out for you. There are people out there that don't care if you are a man or a woman, old or young. If you attack them, they will beat the crap out of you! You know how to avoid that happening to you? Don't kick people that are twice your size. It is really, really simple!
Like I said, she was stupid to throw the punch and the kick, and everything she did. There's no doubt. I agree totally that she shouldn't have started it. But yes I'm comparing this guy hitting that girl to a parent hitting a child. The size difference is about the same. The chance that the girl hurts the guy in a serious way is about the same. Also the girl isn't an adult.

Then you are cowardly, weak, and a bully. The idea of not hitting women comes from history and long before any modern emasculating culture. If you can't handle a woman attacking you, then you're as weak and wimpy as they come. That's especially true if she's half your size and has no real chance to seriously hurt the guy. It takes more balls and fortitude to not hit the woman who attacks. She should have some consequences but it shouldn't be being punched through a sheet of glass by a guy twice her size.
