Less Dana please. And the last episode didn't really advance the plot all that much. I did enjoy the writers patting themselves on the back by reinforcing (twice) to the audience how Carrie was a double agent, and how amazing a job she did, and how the plan was ****ing brilliant. But the only new thing in this episode was the President passing over Saul...and his wife cheating on him.
I'm guessing that kid is probably his son or something. Curious to see how Carrie gets past the polygraph.
^ yup....really like the last two episodes. and i don't care if dana will play an important role down the line, but right now her story line is pretty much unbearable. the girl's a good actor, but her character does nothing to advance the show.
I've got to think that Brody will soon reach out to Dana. I can't imagine any other reason for the exposure of the last couple episodes. I figured Leo was going to kill her of both of them. Love the last two episodes. They are recapturing a lot of what I liked about the show to begin with. The other thing I appreciate about Homeland is how ballsy they were with killing off so many characters in one fell swoop.
Agreed...Last week's was awesome, last night, eh...Carrie will do just about anything and I can respect that...
I thought last nights episode was awesome. Probably best or second best so far this season. It also looks like Carrie and Saul had this plan hatched since the bombings at Langley. Carrie being pregnant? I'm not sure I like that.
Spoiler Curious how long she has been pregnant. If she is at 2+ months or so, then Brody could be the father.
I hope last night's episode means Dana is gone for at least a few episodes. Overall it a was a pretty good episode.
I thought all the tests in the drawer and the one she just took were all negative? They all showed the same thing from what I saw. What's her trip with putting them in the drawer like that? Cuckoo.
They had a positive sign on them. Seems like Carrie is pregnant, but it's kinda hard for them not to know with her being in the psych ward and probably taking blood/urine samples. I thought it was a pretty good episode last night. It's been improving steadily. Brody has only had like 20 minutes of screentime, though. We need to see more of him and how his situation plays into this season. And I hope Dana is gone forever.
Maybe they had to accommodate her real life pregnancy and factor it into the show? That's probably why it is in the story if I had to guess. I think she had a kid not to long ago.
It's realistic for her to get pregnant. I'm pretty sure all those times she was with brody they weren't using a condom. Or with that brodyesque looking guy. As for birth control pills, she doesn't take her psych medication responsibly as it is, so forget about bc.
I think shes a terrible actor. She only has one facial expression, which is distant and non-emotive. So a terrible actor playing a terrible character...I don't see how the writers at this point can make her interesting at all.
OBVIOUSLY Nick is going to reach out to her, there is no other reason to give her this much screen time. Unless its to fill the episodes with some bs until the action begins.
Last 2 episodes have been really strong but Christ just be done with Dana's story already. Talk about bringing everything down to a screeching halt with those scenes.
