ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Clippers 11/4/2013

So a LOF, a BOF and a HOF walked into a bar. Soon they began discussing the game not being shown on the television (because stupid comcast). The discussion became steadily more heated, especially after Loh, the bartender, joined in. As tensions were rising and fisticuffs becoming all but assured, they were joined by a COF.
As we all know, a COF can be a lovely thing indeed and this one was a particularly stunning example. The group quickly quieted as she played with her hair.
"Whatcha talking about?" she asked.
"Turnovers," replied the BOF.
"Those are bad, right?" asked the COF.
"Well, actually they can be really good," said the LOF. Loh snorted.
"Turnovers aren't good, but if you get enough points it's ok," said the HOF. No one disagreed.
"I don't really have any problem with turnovers," said the BOF. Loh gave him a high five.
"How many points do you have to get?" asked the COF.
"It depends," said the HOF.
"What if you help someone get points?" asked the COF.
They all agreed that was a good thing.
"Well, is everyone helping people get points?" asked the COF.
"Not so much," they agreed with each other again.
"Maybe we should worry about that, then," said the COF.
The LOF and HOF agreed, but Loh disagreed with the LOF on general principle. Soon the argument started again.
Meanwhile, the BOF snuck out of the bar with the COF and they both lived happily ever after. The end.

Same here....I hate that the clippers use red as well, I blend in too much. When I go to Lakers games at least we can all stand out.

LOL. I 'm sorry. I just hope he doesn't turn the ball over to much. With CP3. 2 turnovers is good. When he penetrates the defense he needs to cover up that ball. And I hope Chandler plays like he did in that last game.

 

And don't forget Garcia. He can take the other team out with his 3s.

 

The Clippers go as far CP3 takes them. I don't think Lin's going to outplay him, but if he keeps things close we can win this. However, overall the edge goes to the Clips because they're playing at home.

 

good luck jlin, you're going to need it. This will be a test to see how his D has improved from last year.

I think the match up i'd like to see tonight is howard and jordan.

 

Hope Minnesota and Philly down today, and rockets step up, it would be nice

Yes, I was surprised, Kemba was making Bev look kinda bad there. Then Lin came in and shut him down in the second half. Very weird. Lin also shut Calderon down and limited the Utah pgs. Let's see if he can down anything close to that tonight with CP3...

The NBA really needs to do something about these west coast tip off times. There games should start no later than 630 pm for us East coasters. 1030 is a damn annoying time to start watching a game.

 

Same could be said for 4pm games starting when everyones still at work!

 

Having to wait until 930 here in Alabama is also a pain in the ass. 1030 is unfathomable.

I feel like we are going to play well tonight.

^ game starts at 930. they cant please everyone. Do it at 630 everyone doesn't have time to make it to the arena after leaving work, etc.

I don't mind the times. not much you can do about a 2 hour time gap and make everyone happy
