If you guys watched past games with Lin/CP3....neither one can guard each other. It will require team defense to contain either of them. The player that shoots better will just have more points tonight.

the only way that Rox can win this game is for HW to contain PnR between BG and CP3. If our 2 bigs can cut off the lane and grab the rebound, I say we have a good chance to beat them up!

Chris Paul is excellent at forcing the TOs. If he can get 11 out of Stephen Curry, I don't even want to think about what he can do to Jeremy Lin. Yea, count me in as one who's already missing Patrick Beverley, the pest defender.

Curry is the primary ball handler in GSW. Lin is not. Rockets' primary ball handler is Harden. Lin get it some time, so as Parson. Of course, when Harden and Parson turned the ball over, it is not a problem. It is only a problem with Lin turned it over.

Curry is a better shooter but not necessary a better ball handler than Jeremy Lin, I think he'll be just fine.

excited to see us play a legit playoff team. also good to see us taking care of the non-playoff caliber teams the last few games. games like utah are ones we woudlve lost in the last 3 years.

Just in case this hasn't been posted somewhere.

SI ranking Houston #1 in its power rankings.

    Houston Rockets (3-0)
Things are going exactly as planned in Houston: James Harden looks like the best shooting guard in the league; Dwight Howard is playing with a gigantic chip on his gigantic shoulders and rebounding everything in sight (career-high-tying 26 on opening night); and the Rockets are getting contributions not only from the likes of Jeremy Lin and Chandler Parsons but also Francisco Garcia, who has made 10-of-20 three-pointers. Now comes the hard part: keeping it up against a contender. Houston plays the Clippers twice this week.

I tend to agree with you on this part.

    Last game vs. Jazz

    TOs

    JH 5
    CP 4
    JLin 3

Yet the only talking point was JLin's TOs

Crap. I hate it when SI jinxes teams. This week is a really good test though. Not just with the 2 Clipper games, but also the back-to-back with Portland tomorrow. They just beat the Spurs who had Duncan back in the lineup.

What I want to see tonight:

    ~ Beard posterizing Blake
~ Dwight hitting 12/12 FTs, DeAndre 1/12 FTS
    ~ Jeremy posting up CP3
    ~ Omer hitting a halfcourt buzzer-beater
~ CP25 playing 36 minutes without getting called for travel
    ~ Gar3a
~ Omri doing an Arabian dance after making every bucket
    ~ Agent 0 sweating
    ~ a Win
    ~ a partridge in a pear tree

Or just a Win to remain undefeated.

Looks like the game is being replayed on NBA TV at 2 am. Replays are not usually blacked out. Set the dvr!

Yeah, Clips even won a game in Houston w/ Chris Paul out and Eric Bledsoe running point guard. 3 quarters of that game was devoted to Harden ISO. That was embarrassing.
